I just had to re-install my Windows 11 Professional system because of OneDrive corruption ( spent 4 days trying to save this thing and finally just backed up what I could to an external USB drive and blasted this with a clean install ) and now trying to get all my Proton applications re-installed on this desktop. ( Avoid OneDrive, especially when it MOVES things instead of just a backup and sync... without notifying the users. No network ( for ANY REASON ), no files !
What we really need is a SINGLE LINK so we can install all the applications in one shot instead of each one at a time.
I have part of the backups in and have probably another day or 2 to get the rest of what I can back in... still have to bring up the IIS web server.
OneDrive lost ACL's and had security on areas all hosed up when it brought most of the files back down. I was in and out of PowerShell scripts and even to the ' safe ' WinRE. ( I do have a nice library of all types of scripts now <G> )
Even my local backups were corrupted and not of any real use.
