Onboarding Opt-out or Toggle
Current onboarding experience needs to be streamlined and needs to respect users. Currently, there are emails sent daily for the first week or so and then there are frequent notifications and banners and modal windows that pop up and interrupt the user while trying to complete a task or just send a quick email. This constant interruption and disrespect for user's time and agency is not welcomed. For those that need onboarding, let them opt in and for those that do not need onboarding, let them opt out. There should be a single question upon new account creation: "Would you like to activate the onboarding experience?" A simple Yes/No would either enable or disable all onboarding for that user. There should also be an On/Off toggle in the settings to enable or disable onboarding. Other than that, just make finding help easy without being intrusive or distracting.
