Pass code, QR code, so on, timmed
Just like how QR codes work, to allow us to log into anything without needing to use our password.
We open a proton app, we can click use pass code, or QR code, or similar. We then do the rest on our phone or whatever we use.
There we can also chose "keep me signed in" or "log me out after x time".
Result? we can use proton VPN and more anywhere without compromising anything because of entering our tricentennials is not the only thing i am talking about.
I got logged out. Why? i don't know. But now i need to log back in. Well i just click on a button, the phone or whatever is our main will then be needed to confirm this via matching code or qr scan, or, if it's a "member device" a simple confirmation of "yes it's me" or "no it's not me, don't allow access on that device for my account" <- also send warning to proton about this, including creating a temporary user recovery key that proton can use to obtain the account if stolen or something like this? ok this is off topic i guess so going back
Idea is that i am actually talking about a large change.
We use a certain account for a forum? we can then open the camera (on phone) to photo the website and user to get instantly the password OR copy paste of the website if we don't remember the user on top of password but without actually be signed in because this is the idea that is confusing in what i am suggesting: no log ins. We just open proton, click on an new service, add the website or what it is we want to use, then it shows us an qr code or passcode we enter in our phone or whatever device, and there we can either have the information displayed on our phone, or, allow those information to be temporary visible on the device we made this request, for easy copy pasting.
