also a KeepassXC .csv export import would fit for me

There's no import for Keepass XC, which is a more modern version of Keepass and uses .kdbx format as files.

This already works just import as a keepass file. Inside KeepassXC export the file as XML and then import it into the keepass option in the import settings.

Is there a way to import by KeepassXC database (.kdbx file) in Proton Pass ?

KeePassium only exports .kdbx files, so a limitation to .xml is not helpful here.

It would be very helpful to have the ability to import our existing data from KeePass.

On import passwords wizard please add KeePass .kbdx files

Please add KeePassXC encrypted password wallet. I'm using it on Linux Debian 12, but I think there's a Windows version too.

I could export an XML file from KeePassXC on MacOS, and this could be imported as a Keepass XML file.
On Windows, however, KeePassXC only exports HTML and CSV - neither of which can be imported.
Adding support for CSV for keepass would solve this, as this format is available in all versions of keepass (I'm pretty sure).

+1 to add the ability for Proton Pass to support encrypted KeepassXC database format.

It might be safe to assume people who know KeepassXC also know the origin Keepass and would be tempted to use that option. However, it would be better to make it clear Proton Pass supports KeepassXC by adding it directly to the UI.

I'm not sure what file format KeePass originally used but I use the updated KeePassXC fork and it uses a .kdbx file. It would be great to be able to import this file then use my keepass password to decrypt it in proton pass.

Currently to import from KeePass it is necessary to export all the password database to a plain-text (non-encrypted) file before being able to import in ProtonPass.
I'd really be more comfortable if there was a way to directly import from a KeePass database, without "breaking" the security, not even temporarily.
KeePass is open-source and it should be possible to develop an importer directly (e.g. that requires you the password to unlock the database, and then does everything securely).

Export XML is not available in some KeepassXC on Linux. And the XML export is unencrypted format. So the import of kdbx format would be very usefull.
The ideal would be a synchronization with kdbx (export/import) that would be a great backup solution.

Actually, this is already possible. Just need to export it to XML first. See https://proton.me/support/pass-import-keepass for details.

Looks like https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/46856269-add-support-to-import-keepassxc-vault-kdbx is a duplicate of this, but there are more votes there.
Let's all move our votes to that one?
