Additional vault item types
Since I'm honestly too lazy to create multiple ideas I'll just post them as one, sonce they all are just different types or options of item types which should definitely be usable in proton pass, apart from log-ins, notes and the three other options:
1. Item types:
• Bank account
○ Bank name
○ IBAN
○ BIC
○ PIN
• Passkeys
• Identity incl.
○ Name
○ Surname
○ Middle name
○ Initial
○ Short name
○ Instagram name
○ Gender
○ Title
○ Birth date
○ Birth place
○ State
○ Company
○ Phone
○ Mobile phone
○ Address
○ Job title
• E-Mail addresses incl. application passwords
• Companies
• Wifi/Router data
• ID Card
• File upload (e.g. for tax certificates)
• Tax Number
• Tax ID
• Driver licence
2. Options for every Login item:
• Groups (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Tags (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Subdomain on/off switch (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Multiple log ins (Usernames and E-Mail) (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
3. Options under every item type:
• Custom fields with individually pickable custom names (Example: Field name: testfield, Value: test)
○ Text
○ URL
○ Date
○ Address
○ One Time Password
○ 2FA Backup
○ PIN
○ Application Password

Software Licences (Keys, License files, Token…) absolutely necessary! The Rest of that idea I agree a 100 percent.
I come from 1password and port it to proton, all that Informations get lost or complicated. -

Custom Item types is what we need. Freely create custom types with custom fields and the ability to group them

How is this not a thing? Dashlane has been doing this for me for years. I switched to Proton yesterday and find the lack of this feature truly disappointing.

Sometimes you simply need to save a password or a code. Say you want to save the code for the lock on your front door. There is currently no entry that makes this clean. You can create a login with just the code in the password space or you can create an identity and add a hidden field. This all works but it is messy. It would be nice to create an entry that has a single hidden field to save codes, PINs, etc. Alternatively, you can provide the ability to remove unneeded fields from current entry options. That is, if I wanted to save a PIN I could create a new LOGIN, enter the PIN in the PASSWORD field and then delete all the other unnecessary fields.

I can't believe that all these items aren't available to choose from. 1P is way ahead in this respect.
The software license and the option to add a password are also missing.
If you click on add item, it says password, but opens the password generator. What's actually missing there is the wrong place and the label is wrong. -

As a user, I’d love to see Proton Pass include categories for storing identification like passports, driver’s licenses, or SIN numbers. It would make organizing important documents so much easier. For example, when I needed quick access to my Emirates ID status, I used tools like https://smarttrekassist.ae/ which inspired me to think about how Proton Pass could streamline document management similarly.

This looks like the European Digital Identity or the Yivi app in the Netherlands, look at https://privacybydesign.foundation/.
It must be rock solid and zero knowledge proof.
But don’t make it to complicated, real people have to understand it and use it. -

This is a feature I use 1Password for. This is virtually a "deal breaker."

I've leveraged 1Password a lot and have grown accustomed to the different categories for identification as well.
While the list below is coming from what 1Password currently offers, I understand Proton might want to implement in their own way. Just as long as it becomes available. Whether they are completely new options in the "New Item" list or if it's some sort of drowndown that automatically renders fields based on the selected type or something else.
Like others, here are some of the categories I'd like to see:
- API credential
- Bank Account
- Database
- Driver License
- Medical Record
- Passport
- Social Security NumberHaving the ability to change some of the default inputs when selecting the generic "Login" would be helpful too. Imagine trying to store the information for your wireless router in ProtonPass. You'd have to probably add some custom field names, sensor the sensitive information but then when you want to make use of it, you have to login to your Vault and manually copy the correct field so that a different field doesn't automatically get injected in the login prompt. Just one example.
