I'll join.
Please implement an autostart with autotray function for the desktop variant.:-) -

Why doesn't proton pass launch in the background when mac starts up? If you set it up to start up from the setting in new version of mac os then the entire window lauches.

I would like to see this feature on Linux as well

The options I'd find helpful would be to auto launch Protonmail and Proton Pass along with my Proton VPN upon Start Up of my desktop. I primarily use my desktop for all activity.

On Linux it would be great to have --minimised as a launch option so we can launch it minimised to the system tray rather than using something like xdtool to find and minimise it.
Also respect --help , slapping a little bit of documentation in there is always amazing!

macOS too - also as per the windows app, it would be smart to have the macOS app minimise to the menu bar, exactly as Proton Drive does on macOS

I don't understand how this wasn't part of it already. Its a tool you only use occasionally and having a system tray prevents the tool from requiring more clicks than needed to get a password displayed.

launching and closing to tray seem like basic features for an app that you use every so often but not all the time...

It would be very nice if the app could be cloes to the tray system on windows. This i think is very important.

EDIT: It does auto launch, but requires me to enter password vs loading up without, it seems.
Unless they decide to add this, here's a workaround for Windows: Create a shortcut to the ProtonPass exe located in %localappdata%/ProtonPass/ - move the shortcut to the following folder by typing in Windows Explorer: shell:startup
This may work in the meantime.

Thanks for the feedback, we've updated the title as a request for nested subfolders already exists.

Okay, so I agree, it would be nice to have this native in the application. In the meantime, you can manually add applications to launch with Windows startup - here's the instructions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/add-an-app-to-run-automatically-at-startup-in-windows-10-150da165-dcd9-7230-517b-cf3c295d89dd

I would like to see subfolders being introduced into the proton pass application.
I would also like to see the function that many other password managers have and that is starting up when your pc or laptop starts up.
For example i use windows 11 and it would be great if proton pass would start up automatically with windows, with the option to also turn that off as welll. -

Proton Pass Desktop should have the capability to start at boot, minimize and close to the Windows system tray. It should also minimize after copying a password or username. [All these features are available in Bitwarden]

There's basically no point to the desktop app over the browser plugin if I have to keep the window in the alt-tab rotation.

There should be a easy way to make ProtonPass client app start when the OS stars.

Having it stay in the system tray would be optimal.
