Only unlock one or more vaults in browser extension
Proton Pass isn't just a password manager. it should not retrieve and decrypt every vault/item with a single PIN Code especially in browser. I do not think my ssh keys or medical records vault will be helpful in browser extension.
Possible Solutions:
- Add the option to lock each vault with a second password (should be synced across clients)
- On login select which vaults to be available in this client. can't be changed without re-auth.
with one of these implemented I could for example have a vault for my shopping and only unlock it on my shopping browser/device for added privacy/security.
it will also help that the auto-fill menu won't be filled with un-wanted entries.
As a user of multiple browsers at once, I think solution 1 or 2 is better than the one suggested in the related post. I may want a vault in one browser but not the other.

Hello,
Managing sensitive data like passwords or authentication vaults is definitely easier when you can control what stays unlocked. Keeping access limited to what you actually need improves security and convenience. That same focus on privacy and trust is important in other industries too. I recently came across https://www.kingkind.co/dispensary-in-mission-bay/, where they emphasize verified, lab-tested products and customer education, which reflects a similar mindset of responsible access and transparency. -

Please add a feature to confirm the passwords in the browser extension with biometrics.
I understand that biometrics are planned for browser extensions, but only as a unlock-the-complete-manager option.
What I would request is the workflow that apple's password manager has: additionally to unlocking the full password manager and browsing through passwords, each login needs to be confirmed with either the fingerprint/faceID or the password of the password manager.Pros:
- do not have to unlock the full vault when using autofill
- keeps all other passwords hidden/unaccessible to a potential intruder gaining access to your computer
