I'm using proton pass for all my credentials and have the android app installed on my Pixel 8. Some sites allow you to sign in using passkeys, even if you don't have an account on the site. (for instance https://nnsc.tf -> Register). So when I choose "continue with a passkey" on the site, Firefox shows a list of options, Pixel 8 Pro, qrcode and security key. When I select Pixel 8 Pro, a notification is sent to my phone and I'm asked to connect the device. After doing that, Android complains that there is no passkeys. When i google this problem I quickly reach support articles saying that his is because Google is not set as my default password manager, which is correct, I'm using Proton pass...
Does anyone know if this is a problem that can be solved without setting google as password manager on my phone? Or if this is something that needs to be handled better by the Proton Pass app?
