Force passkey interception
Now, if proton pass is lock, proton extension will not catch the passkey request.
I see someone ask for no interception at all
I think the default behavior is important (catch if proton is unlocked, else let OS manage)
But add a 3rd option to always catch passkey and prompt to unlock the extension

Having the same problems others are describing.
Only speculating, but the number of permissions that the ProtonPass Brave extension requires is far less than other password manager extensions. In general, less is better, but perhaps this is one of the reasons causing these issues.

This is VERY important. I always have to click "cancel" on Brave Browser, unlock Proton Pass, and reload the page :(

This is critical. Currently, when Proton Pass is auto-locked, it fails to intercept WebAuthn/passkey requests, which causes the browser’s native manager to take over or the login to fail. The plugin should be able to detect these requests while locked and immediately trigger a "Tap to Unlock" or PIN prompt.

Bumping this, and it's a great idea.
Both home and at work I lock my Proton Pass with a PIN. The problem is that Windows Hello pops up when I try to unlock with a passkey that is in Proton Pass, making me cancel, unlock Proton Pass, and then be able to use it.
This should be a setting that is or isn't turned on by default.
