Deduplication & Merge Tool for Proton Pass
Proton Pass currently lacks a native feature to identify and manage duplicate entries, which is a significant pain point for vault hygiene. Especially after importing data from other managers, users often end up with redundant items that must be manually found and deleted. I propose the implementation of a Duplicate Detection tool that scans the vault for identical URLs and usernames. Beyond simple deletion, a "Merge" function is essential to consolidate different notes or historical data from duplicates into a single primary entry. Adding this capability would greatly improve the user experience and help keep the vault organized and clutter-free as the database grows.

Interesting idea deduplication and merging in something like Proton Pass can really streamline clutter, especially when managing lots of entries. It reminds me how simplifying tools improves workflow overall. For example, when handling math tasks, I prefer quick browser-based options like https://smart84calc.com/ since they remove friction and keep things efficient without extra setup.

Interesting idea. Password managers often accumulate duplicate entries over time, especially after imports or switching devices, so a clean merge tool would definitely help keep vaults organized. I like tools that simplify complex checks similar to how calculators help clarify numbers. For example, when checking gold value, simple tools like https://goldcalculatorr.com/ make the process much easier to understand.

Hi,
When I’m organizing large sets of data like that, I like double-checking counts and percentages to see how much cleanup I’ve actually done. Simple tools such as https://easygradecalculators.com/ help me quickly verify those numbers before and after merging.
