Suggestion: Add Live Chat Support to Improve Customer Assistance
Hello Proton team,
I’d like to suggest adding live chat support, even if it is not available 24/7. Limited support hours or availability for paid plans would still be extremely valuable.
Currently, most support interactions rely on email communication, which often requires multiple back-and-forth messages before an issue is fully understood or resolved. For account concerns, billing questions, technical problems, or urgent access issues, this process can take considerable time.
Benefits of introducing live chat support:
• Faster issue clarification and troubleshooting
• Reduced delays caused by email exchanges
• Better support experience for urgent situations
• Improved communication for complex technical problems
• Increased user confidence, especially for privacy and security-related services
Even a few hours of daily live support, priority chat for premium users, or AI-assisted chat with escalation to human agents would be a meaningful improvement.
I understand providing 24/7 live support may require significant resources, but limited availability would still greatly enhance the overall customer support experience.
