"Combine these items" under the ellipses menu under "reused passwords"
I have some duplicate entries in Proton Pass.
Sometimes it's hard to point a browser or an app to use an existing entry in Proton Pass, and when you authenticate it may generate a new entry with the same given login information.
This can get really annoying, because from the user's perspective, the entries seem identical, so it's not clear which one can safely be deleted without having the app or browser try to regenerate the same one the next time you try logging in to that app or site. Only Proton knows which ones are authorized for which apps and which sites.
I would love if instead of having to stare at the entries in "Reused passwords" and be scared to delete ones that I very well know are duplicates(because I just know the app or browser will try to recreate them), Proton could also add a button that says "Combine these", which would combine those entries into a single entry, including the scopes and permissions currently granted to each of the duplicate entries that are being combined.
And when you click the button, it would make sense to get a confirmation dialog that lists the items that will be combined and says "These items will be combined. This is only recommended if these entries are all used for the same service provider. Proceed / Cancel?"
And even better would be if ProtonPass also had the ability to identify sites that are all used by the same well-known providers, like facebook.com and instagram.com; or like google.com and youtube.com, and offer to combine those.
This would make it a lot easier to remove some "duplicate" entries which ProtonPass perceives as someone reusing the same password with multiple services but which are actually just different ways to authenticate to the same provider.
