Web access for Authenticator.
I like to use Proton Authenticator, but there is a major problem for me that forces me to use another service. I often require 2FA in cases where I do not have my phone and I am unable to install applications to the computer. Ideally I would be able to access Proton Authenticator through the web, using my hardware OTP. From there I would be able to access OTP for the rest of my accounts. This issue has forced me to use a different provider for an authenticator, which I hate to do, especially since I already pay for Proton.

Option to hide password count for the certain website
Option to hide the amount number of saved entries for a website.
Now there is always a sign of the number of entries on all websites even after login. For example using Safari on MacOS you'll see the how many entries you've saved for all the websites before and after logging in.

Support The Apple Password Manager Resources Standard
Apple is working on Password Manager Resources. A resource to share password rules, the URL for a password change, and combines URLs that support the same login. It is ready to be implemented into password managers today.
From their own GitHub:
Having password managers collaborate on these resources has three high-level benefits:
By sharing resources, all password managers can improve their quality with less work than it'd take for any individual password manager to achieve the same effect.
By publicly documenting website-specific behaviors, password managers can offer an incentive for websites to use standards or emerging standards to improve their…5 votes -
Add mobile confirmation unlock (biometric) for proton pass for all platforms
Title: Add Mobile Confirmation Unlock for Proton Pass on All Platforms
Suggestion:
It would be great if Proton Pass could be unlocked on Linux, macOS, Windows, and mobile devices not only with a PIN code, but also through a confirmation request sent to the user’s mobile phone.
This feature would add an extra layer of security by allowing users to confirm unlock attempts directly from their trusted device, similar to how some services use push-based authentication.Je5 votes -
Need the ability to silence only the Inactive 2FA Alert (without losing other protections) on logins held in Proton Pass.
We need ability to silence only the Inactive 2FA Pass Monitor Alerts (without losing other protections) on a login held in Proton Pass. For those who use different 2FA solutions for logins held in Proton Pass we want the ability to flag the logins as 2FA protected. Currently, the only way to do that is game the system by adding a 2FA Key to the entry or totally excluding the entry from Pass Monitor. Thank you

Additional Browser Extension Themes
The browser extension on Firefox only supports the light/dark default themes. I am a big Monokai fan and have set it as my default theme wherever I can. I would like my Proton Pass browser extension to also have the same styling as my email.

Add Pin button so browser extension window doesn't close
Add a Pin toggle button to browser extension window so it doesn't close. Sometimes I want to copy more data from there, like 2 or more fields. A button that prevents it from closing would help a lot.

Quick Rename Passwords
I imported my passwords from an iCloud Keychain CSV and all the passwords are titled as the website + username, and I would love something that could quickly rename a password to Example1 by using the url www.example1.com if that makes sense. Or a quick database to rename popular websites.

Occasionally require users to enter their Proton Pass password to unlock
One of the features I loved about 1P was the requirement every two weeks to enter my password to unlock the vault. It is unobtrusive and is the right length of time to keep the password fresh in my mind without being overbearing.

Save Android App Package Names for Autofill
Make autofill on Android significantly more reliable by saving (and allowing import of) Android app package names/URIs.
Bitwarden and other password managers already do this in the same way that websites are saved. Currently these are lost on import, and there is no way to add them properly. If you try and add them manually, https:// is added at the start.

Manual data breach checks
Since paid subscription adds an automatic monitor to check if logins have been compromised in data breaches, would be nice to have a manual button for free users to do that.
I think it doesnt devaluate the paid feature, since automatic monitoring is still overpowered and nice for a paid plan, but still allow free users to fast and manually (due to free plan) check if pass or email was compromised.
I also think it is not a too demanding feature since there is a system to check data, just a manual button next to login register for free users…

Targeted auto-fill of individual entries via the browser extension
When opening the ProtonPass browser extension, an explicit button such as “Fill” for each entry would be desirable. This would allow exactly this data record to be used for the currently open website. This would prevent incorrect entries and increase control, especially when multiple logins are stored for the same domain.

Context-based suggestions and AI assistance
While competitors such as Dashlane have already integrated AI features, Proton Pass lacks an intelligent assistance function. Proton could score points here with privacy-first AI: A local AI assistant that never sends data to external servers could identify weak passwords, detect duplicates, and provide context-based security recommendations. The AI could also recognize login patterns and suggest which accounts may have been inactive for a long time and should be deleted. A feature that automatically recognizes whether a website is trustworthy or potentially dubious when creating new accounts would be particularly valuable.

Expanded Vault Organization
While ProtonPass supports vaults, folders, and subfolders, it lacks intelligent organizational features. Automatic tagging based on categories like "Finance," "Social Media," "Work," or "Shopping" would be helpful. Smart collections that dynamically update based on criteria—such as "All logins not used in the last 30 days" or "All accounts with weak passwords"—would also be extremely useful. A timeline view showing when each login was created, modified, or last used would significantly improve organization.

Ignore apps or sites on mobile
There are certain apps or websites that I don't want to store passwords for.
Currently the only options on the password pop up are "No, thanks" and "Save".
If the Proton mobile apps could have a "never from this website" on the pop up and if the app settings could have a "choose apps to ignore" I wouldn't have to keep dismissing the pop up and would also solve the complaint about the save password prompt popping up for Microsoft authenticator prompts amongst other edge cases I'm sure.

Credit card Displays the corresponding issuing organization icon
By using the card number, you can display the corresponding card issuer, such as MasterCard, VISA, UnionPay, JCB, etc. icons to quickly locate the card type. Instead of implementing the current default icon. It would be better if you can customize the icon.

Estate Planning and Password Managers
Let’s face it: in most households, one person ends up being the "techie"—they manage all the online accounts, pay the bills, set up the gadgets, and keep track of passwords. Meanwhile, the other person might have no idea what’s what—until something happens and they’re left to figure it all out.
It’s not just about passwords—it’s about being able to keep the lights on, find out where the mortgage is, and know what subscriptions to cancel.
What you need to figure out ASAP:
- Which bank has the mortgage?
- Is the car insurance bundled with something else?
- What bills…6 votes
