1. Feature Request: Automated Batch Password Reset During Security Incident

   Problem Statement
   In the event of a suspected vault compromise, changing the master password alone doesn't protect previously saved credentials. Users face a critical window of vulnerability where attackers could use stored passwords before individual account changes are made. Manually resetting hundreds of passwords across different services is time-consuming and error-prone during an emergency.

   Proposed Solution: Password Reset Sequences (PRS)
   Enable a batch password reset function within Proton Pass that automatically navigates users through password reset flows for all vault entries. This would execute as an automated sequence for each account:
   Navigate to the target website's login page
   Auto-fill username and current password
   Log in and navigate to the account's password reset page
   Fill in current password (if required)
   Generate and populate a new strong password using existing rules
   Save the updated credentials back to Proton Pass
   Update vault history with the old password before overwrite

   Technical Requirements
   URL Sequence Storage: Per-site reset flow URLs stored as metadata on each vault entry
   Validation Mechanism: Crowd-sourced verification of reset URLs (upvoting system) to prevent phishing risks
   Password Policy Mapping: Store per-site password requirements (length, characters, etc.) to generate compliant new passwords
   Cloud Sync: PRS templates available across all licensed user devices
   Fallback Mode: Allow manual recording/resetting if no PRS exists for a particular service

   Community Contribution Model
   Encourage users to create and share validated reset sequences:
   Display indicator when a working PRS is available for an account (similar to rich icon downloads)
   Reward high-quality submissions with reputation or credit toward premium features
   Version tracking for websites that change their reset workflows

   Security Benefits
   Rapid incident response: Reduce time from breach detection to credential protection
   Comprehensive coverage: Ensure all stored credentials are rotated, not just the master password
   Audit trail: Maintain password history during rotation for rollback if needed
   Phishing prevention: Validated community URLs reduce risk of malicious reset pages

   Given Proton Pass's existing autofill capabilities, extension infrastructure, and form-filling technology, this builds directly on proven functionality. The core challenge is workflow automation and URL sequence management rather than novel technology.

3. CLI: expose and update "last used" time for items

   CLI: expose and update "last used" time for items

   The Proton Pass apps (desktop, browser, mobile) all track and show when each item was last used, which makes it easy to spot stale credentials and to sort by what you actually use. The CLI is the only client that ignores this: it never shows a "last used" value and never updates it, even though the API already returns the field.

   I'd love the CLI to match the apps here:

   1. Show "last used" in item list / item view JSON output, alongside the created/modified times that are already there.
   2. Update it when an item is actually used from the CLI — item view, item totp, and especially run / inject, which are how secrets get consumed in scripts and CI.
   3. Optionally, let item list --sort-by last-used order by it.

   Use case: credential hygiene. With this I could audit a vault for credentials nobody uses anymore, and confirm that the secrets my automation depends on are still alive. Right now a login read every hour by a cron job looks completely unused from the CLI's point of view.

   This would bring the CLI in line with the rest of the Proton Pass ecosystem for power users who live in the terminal.

4. Add support for automatic background refresh on iOS and iPadOS

   Add support for background refresh on iOS and iPadOS clients so that syncing happens in the background and your vaults are always up-to-date and in sync whenever you launch the Proton Pass app or use Autofill. Also, implement “pull to refresh” support to initiate an immediate sync instead of having to find the force sync option which is buried in a sub-menu of settings.

5. Flag/block fake sites

   Sometimes fake websites copy real websites (e.g. Anna Archive). For a given login, I would like not only to add websites it is used, but also flagged/blocked websites that I know are fake. When the website looks too real, we are tempted to fill the credential, event when Proton pass don't suggest them (which happens regularly), then the credentials are stolen.

7. Add a Neutral Dark Theme Option

   Please add an option to choose a neutral dark gray or pure black (AMOLED) theme. The current dark mode uses a dark purple/indigo background throughout the app, and I find it less comfortable and less visually appealing. Giving users the choice between the current theme and a neutral dark theme would improve the user experience.

8. Auto Rotate Passwords

   I’ve just seen that Apple’s Passwords app in iOS 26 appears to have introduced automatic password rotation for weak, compromised or commonly used passwords. There’s a brief overview here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/nNagfly9s3Y

   I appreciate that, for this to work properly, websites will need to support the correct password-change flow and make the process reliable for password managers. However, with Apple now moving in this direction, I would expect wider adoption to happen much more quickly.

   Is this something Proton has already considered for Proton Pass, either as a current development area or on the roadmap?

9. Offline version of Proton Pass

   To align with Keepass and strongbox, it would be helpful to have an offline version of Proton Pass. There are still some passwords that I do not carry on my phone because I do not wish to run the risk of losing the phone and have all passwords compromised. Those passwords stay home on an offline file reducing the exposure if a compromise happens.

10. Multiple accounts / logins for Proton Pass

    I have multiple Proton accounts (for work and private) and I would like to see that Proton Pass can have multiple accounts logged in.
    In the same way that Proton Mail works; you can "Add another account" and can easily switch between these accounts. And I would like to see the same behavior for Proton Pass (and preferably the browser extension).

11. A temporary way to access to proton suite

    So there’s have been situations where I can’t use my phone because I’m not allowed to take it with me to work inside for many reasons such as work policies, but I have access to a computer, so it would so convenient if there’s a way to get my own domain and a password that only works for X amount of things for example passwords for only these 4 sites along with TOTP and this file from drive only, but then on break when I have access to my phone it will then show a pop up, and tell me to tap so I can go my account with Face ID and other methods and then the domain automatically self destructs or deletes that copy of all info on it.

    And also to add to this feature we can have a easy to remember password for this side but it’s completely black box contained so anything in this can’t see the whole system but once I’m on my phone I can see what’s in this box so if needed I can copy over files or passcodes and then kill the whole thing off

13. Detect new passwords or password updates

    On iOS, proton Pass should detect new passwords created or updates to existing passwords and save them without having to enter them manually, as is the case for the native Apple app or password managers in Chrome or Brave browsers.

14. Prioritize records of same type

    How many google -acccounts do we each have? But still we only use 1...
    Super simple prio-field in records. Like #1 - #10 and then sort the list of suggestions in this prio order.
    For instance: I have 6 google -accounts in my vault (my own, company, children etc.).
    I go to google.com and I got all of these six as suggestions based on the url. The one with Prio #1 should be at the top and maybe the selected one in the popup in the actual textfield.

    Basically I would like to have a write version of https://github.com/protonpass/pass-cli/blob/main/pass-cli/src/commands/item/attachment/download.rs similar to the other apps, like android https://github.com/protonpass/android-pass/blob/3570f55f06b9aec7facb36533f2179aa2062cd49/pass/data/impl/src/main/kotlin/proton/android/pass/data/impl/api/PasswordManagerApi.kt#L652

16. Local passwords - option to store passwords locally

    Coming from Keepass I would love to an option to store my passwords locally on my computer (desktop). Since I do not really need passwords on my cell phone I have no need for sync and cloud storage of my passwords.

    I know this might go against Proton's and Pass' whole security model...but I would still be interested in having a local storage option.

17. Export Support on Android

    Currently, there doesn't appear to be a place to export Pass data on Android. The only relevant link is to the import / export documentation which describes the process on desktop.

    Right now, Proton is doing maintenance and that has interfered with my ability to work. The only place my Pass data still seems to be available is on mobile (not sure why) and I need a way to export my data to another password manager quickly.

    Could Proton add the export feature to mobile as well so this problem doesn't happen again?
