Delete all credentials (allow main vault delete) for Free users
Currently, free version only allows one vault. And the main vault cannot be deleted. This means I can't delete the vault that stores all of my credentials.
This is a huge problem when users want to import newer data from another password manager without having duplicate credentials.
Since Proton Pass does not allow to merge duplicates, the only way would be to delete all and import again.

Add option to move search bar to bottom on iOS
In the iOS app, add some means of searching at the bottom of the screen. Having the search box at the top of the screen is a big reach and the keyboard appears at the bottom of the screen.
In 1Password you can tap the search button at the bottom to focus the search input at the top, even if you’re already on the search screen.

Search custom fields
In case I am deleting a email adress for example because of getting spammed by phishing mails. I cannot search for all accounts that use this adress if it is in a custom field because the account has a username instead of an email to login. And I am sure there are other cases. Send vaults to trash instead of intstant delete
Add vaults to trash.
Right now if you delete an entire vault it is deleted permanently while if you delete only one element it goes to trash. Please make so that also if you delete an entire vault, the entire vault goes to trash.2 votes -

Like an airplane taking off, maybe a car? Seems like the icons could be changed to reflect categories a bit better. Aesthetically they could be improved as well. Like more color or details.

Sync Auto-lock between clients
Please add the functionality to sync the settings and status (locked/unlocked) of Auto-lock from the desktop app with the browser extension.
So you would only have to set up the auto-lock settings once and you only have to unlock Proton Pass on the system one time. Currently I have to unlock the desktop app and browser extension separately, which are two steps.

Add Color to passwords/hidden fields and capital letters
Hi,
I noticed that Passwords have color. But Hidden Fields do not on iOS. They do on Android. There should be an option to color those hidden fields like they are in Passwords. So have an enable/Disable option to allow that to happen on any field created. Lastly Capital letters are not colorized.
Here are the colors as they are right now:
Special Symbols - Green
Numbers - Purple
Capital Letters - none
I believe that capital letters should have a color.
That color should be pink or any color that go along with the apps color scheme.

Retain favicon setting in web app
When you lock proton pass, the default resets back to View Favicons... I find viewing Fav's VERY annoying .. Can you set Favicons to remember your choice and NOT default to VIew Favs after you open again. Would be awesome ! Thank you

Define an added card as a debit or credit, and what kind of card it is (Mastercard, Visa, etc.).

Ability to make any fields hidden
In order to be able to hide more critical credentials and information from peaking eyes, I would like to be able to make any fields hidden.
For example, I would like to be able to toggle if the Username, Notes or TOTP fields are visible or hidden with asterisks (******).

Ideally the existing time should be time without web activity, but that probably has privacy implications.

Slow and unnecessary transitions
Some of the transitions/UI in the extension are pretty unnecessary or slow.
- The fade-in when opening the extension window is slow and unnecessary. Opening windows should be quick.
- When clicking a text field, it's pretty slow to open. Both because of the transition and because there's a 100-150ms delay between mousedown and transitionstart.
- The dropdown menus in the extension window should open on mousedown.

Custom fields grouping and ordering
It's great to have custom fields now, but it would also be great to have ability to group them and re-oder with drag-n-drop similar to how you can do this in 1password. Minor thing, yes, but it can help keep things clean in some cases.

When using Authenticator app...
When I come back to the Proton Pass app to enter my 6 digit authentication on the Proton Pass App, the numeric keyboard does not come on for me to input the numbers! I have to keep repeating the process a few times until the numeric keypad shows iPhone 15 Pro Max iOS 17.3

Misleading Password Updating Hint
I logged in to my Firefox account and changed my password with your password generating tool and saved it.
Then I try to login again to see if Proton Pass worked properly. For some reason I don't have to type my password (maybe mozilla.org doesn't really logged me out), but Proton Pass asked me to update my saved password and override it with my old password.
Now I lost my generated password and I have to recover my account at mozilla.org.
Please fix this misleading password updating hint.
P.S. I can't even received the login email with my Proton Mail…

Making the shown email name consistent when sharing.
Currently, the email shown in the top-left of Proton Pass is my default email address. Yet, when sharing, in the members list, it shows my original email address. Either showing both as the default (my preference, as it allows more choice) or showing both as the original would seem to make more sense, at least to me.

Make the GUI much easier to read and navigate
Please look at the interface used by 1Password. The text is large and easy to click on. There are 3 panels that organize the information easily: Item choices on the left, choice of items in the middle, and detail on the right. I want to switch from 1Password to ProtonPass but 1Password is way easier to look at and use.
Also, when I create a new login in ProtonPass, it should go immediately to that entry when I click 'Create'. It does not do that currently.
Just duplicate what they are doing and ProtonPass will be way better.

Separate PIN activation for every Vault
Option to have active/inactive PIN for every Vault individually, in order to speed up acces to application when browsing.
