1. Safari Extension - iOS

   Like 1Password and LastPass, add an iOS Safari extension so that autofilling in Safari is much easier and Proton Pass can save new or updated passwords within Safari, rather than having to manually copy the new password and go into the Proton Pass app to edit. I've seen some say that this isn't necessary because of the universal autofill within iOS, but the 1Password extension shows just how useful a dedicated iOS Safari extension can be, and I don't know that I could fully switch to Proton Pass (or any other password manager) without one.

2. Granular Access for shared vaults

   I would like to propose the implementation of a shared vault feature that enables users within a specific domain to access a password vault with varying levels of permissions. This shared vault would offer granular access control, allowing some users to have read-only access, while others can have read and write access.
   There are several potential use cases for this feature. In the context of a visionary subscription, it would be beneficial to have a family-oriented shared vault where passwords can be shared among family members. Within this shared vault, it should be possible to create different groups, such as parents and children. For instance, a digital school vault can be established to store login credentials for children. This not only ensures that passwords meet a certain level of complexity but also teaches children to be cautious with their digital identity.
   In a business setting, the shared vault feature becomes even more powerful. Proton Business users could be added to specific groups or simply granted access as individual users. Furthermore, the feature should allow for the implementation of policies at the vault, group, or individual user level. This would enable businesses to establish customized access controls and security measures for their sensitive information.
   By implementing a shared vault with granular access control, we can provide users with a powerful tool for securely sharing passwords and managing access to sensitive information within their domains. This feature would cater to both personal and business needs, enhancing security and convenience for users across various scenarios.

4. Add equivalent URLs setting to avoid creating/maintaining duplicate passwords

   Many sites redirect to another location to authenticate or use different URLs to connect to essentially the same site. LastPass has an extendable database to allow for this. For example: bing.com hotmail.com live.com microsoft.com msn.com windows.com windowsazure.com office.com skype.com azure.com. These use the same login. The ones that are well known can be provided as a default set (editable, obviously), but also allow the user to add their own as they discover them.

7. ProtonPass Automatic External Encrypted Backup

   Given the critical nature of the data in ProtonPass, it is a bad idea for it to exist in only one place. There should be a supported workflow for automatically (time based, change based) creating a fully encrypted export which is either able to be pushed or pulled to an external service.

13. Manually linking apps

    For whatever reasons sometimes Proton Pass doesn't allow auto-fill in some mobile apps (and I have to go to Proton Pass, look for the login for that app, copy, go back to the app, paste, go back to Proton Pass for the password, copy...). Is it possible to make an option to manually link the apps with specific logins/passwords as well as you did with web addresses?

16. Limit suggested passwords, by vault selection

    When a vault besides All Vaults is selected, only the passwords kept within that vault are suggested to the user.

    This helps with persona management, eg. I'm at work and select the work vault. The suggested password is only my work protonmail account.

    Current behavior is that I will see multiple logins for the same site and have to choose between them, when really only one is appropriate since I've selected a specific vault.

17. Require master password for selected vault items

    Secure Passwords additionally with the functionality: Require master password for selected entries.
    If the PC or phone was breached without getting access to the Proton password, this will prevent them from stealing the most important Pass Entries. This functionality is already used by LastPass

18. Customize special characters and emojis in password generator

    There needs to be a way to exclude Special Characters as some sites don’t support the #, ^, % or other certain special characters. There should be a box next to each special character that can be checked or unchecked.

    So it might look like

    Also some Special Characters are missing from the password generator.

    At the moment the special characters that the Password Generator generates is:

    The missing Special Characters that should be added to the password generator to be able to generate is:

    Lastly should also make a way to be able to add emojis to passwords. As Kaspersky Password Manager allows this feature.

19. Fully offline mode with cloud synced option

    I would like to see Proton Pass have an option for a fully offline password manager toggle. During the initial setup, it should allow you to pick between Proton Pass servers, or a way to make an end to end encrypted password that would be used to store a copy of the vault's data on iCloud, Google Drive, and Dropbox etc. Then an option to make the password manager fully offline. If a user made the password manager work with online servers, there should be an option in settings to opt into the fully offline password manager. If a user opts into fully offline. Doing so would then delete the data on the server, but keep all local data on the device, then the user would then have the option to either turn on encrypted backups to iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox or re-enable Proton Pass servers.
