Coming from 1password, it would be nice to have hidden fields within Notes
Notes just have a title and description but not the ability to add some fields wich are hidden.
This is crucial, because I have API keys, SSH key, etc stored in them an people could easily see those, take a picture or whatever. So it's not safe for working in public.3 votes -
Essential Features Missing for a Complete Password Manager
You might consider adding some of the features Keeper offers for logins, such as PINs, additional passwords, dates, and file attachments—especially since Proton Drive is already part of the ecosystem. It would also be great to have the option to reorder each block or placeholder for better customization. Lastly, improving Apple Watch integration, similar to 1Password, could make a big difference. These enhancements would make the experience much more complete and could encourage more users, like me, to rely on this as their primary password manager.

Importing of more data-types from 1Password
You need to support more types of data-import from 1Password, such as software licenses, etc.
I would love to switch to Proton Pass and forget about 1Password (I have used the latter since the day it was released) but this restriction noted above is a deal killer.20 votes -

Click to Copy Website addresses or a Copy button
Currently the only way to copy a website address from the desktop app is to edit the entry, highlight, and copy. Clicking on the website launches your default browser.

Login: Option to choose username or email in login fill selection dialog
There is a problem right here in uservoice, the firefox Pass extension detects the field as a username, but the website requires an email address.
Maybe I'm missing something but the only way to get around this is the manual approach of going inside the PASS extension or webapp, navigating to the specific Login entry, copying the appropriate field value there, and manually pasting it into the website's textbox.
It may be an extension bug, a misdetection or rather a misconfiguration of the website, in that case it may be nothing else Proton could do other than to appeal to…

disable autofill per vault
Disable autofill per vault
This would allow to store customers/friends/etc. credentials without having Proton to list them in autofill.

Password folders
Set up the ability to separate a vault into folders.
Would also be great if folders could be imported from different password managers.21 votes -
Ability to share 2FA when sharing secure link
If Proton Pass users were allowed to share two-factor authentication (2FA) codes through secure links, this would significantly enhance usability and security; otherwise, a nonsecure medium may be used to share the 2FA.
Feature Overview:
1. Secure Sharing of 2FA Codes:
▪ Enable users to share 2FA codes securely with trusted contacts via a time-limited, encrypted link.
▪ Ensure the recipient can access the shared 2FA code only once or for a limited period, enhancing security.Benefits:
• Enhanced Security: Users can collaborate or assist others without compromising their security credentials by allowing secure sharing.
• Convenience: Simplifies the process…3 votes -

vault-specific passwords
on a desktop computer a pin will unlock protonpass for all my accounts, from fast food rewards to bank accounts and retirement. I would like a separate password for more sensitive vaults and no password for non sensitive vaults (this is the current behavior). The requirement for additional verification is common for my bank account for example, even after I login I still need additional verification to get my card/account numbers

Make Proton Pass recognize Password-Field on reactive web apps
At least for some password fields, proton (unlike e.g. Firefox Password Manager) does not recognize some password-fields.

Support HOTP counter-based 2FA codes
So this is a little niche, but my organization uses Duo Mobile for 2FA. I figured out how to strip the token out from the QR code, so I can use it elsewhere... but it's not a time-based token, it's counter-based. I was able to use it with my YubiKey so I now have a backup to the Duo app, but apparently I can't use it with Proton.

Custom Autofill Management in Proton Pass:
Enhancing the autofill functionality in Proton Pass by allowing users to edit, view, and copy items, including custom fields, seamlessly from any application or website would be a fantastic addition.

Make credit cards easier to access in the app
Currently, credit cards are simply another record within your hundreds/thousands of passwords, and to access them, you need to apply a filter.
I have come from Keeper, where payment details have a distinct section and are easily reached from desktop, Chrome, or Android apps.
Proton pass forcing you to filter for credit cards is poor UX design.

Emails viewable in Proton Pass account
some sites send a code to your email to access the account.
Then you have to open your email to retrieve the code.
Would it be possible to have an email field in each account in PP, which would display emails from that account.
Say you're logging into Netflix, you have Proton Pass opened, copying your PW to login. Netflix says a code was emailed.
In proton pass, of your Netflix login info, that email would popup.
Basically any email you received from account x Would also be viewable in PP in account x
Would anyone find this beneficial?

Tags in Proton Pass
Please provide the ability to apply tags (or labels) to any entry in Proton Pass. The construct of vaults is useful for separately general categories (e.g.: personal, work) but within a large category there are many sub categories where vaults are not the solution. Consider: You have a family and you manage accounts for your children. You can create a FAMILY vault and then tag each entry with each of your children's names. You could create separate vaults for each but then you are hopping back and forth between vaults too often. With the ability to tag entries you can…
