Safari Extension - macOS
It’s hard to argue that Safari is a major desktop browser, but I imagine it would be even harder to convince Safari users to part ways from iCloud Keychain when the only option to use Proton Pass on macOS is to install a new browser. Which is why an extension for Safari would be very much welcome. Perhaps even some smart integration with existing Proton Bridge? I’m sure your developers could cook up something nice for Safari users.

Trying to import from LastPass. For some reason I can’t do this through the iOS app. Your instructions say to do this through the browser extension. Only Safari has extensions in iOS. I’m trying to migrate my services over to Proton, but you’re making it REAL HARD. Frustrated…

Having an extension for Safari, or at least some option to get passwords in Safari is paramout for my workflow. Safari is my main browser on macOS, not using anything else.
However, trying out the iPad app to have it available, is worth a try. -

I unfortunately can't make the full switch from my current password manager until this feature is completed.

It's crazy they haven't done this at launch, it held a lot of people back...

Can't/won't switch from Bitwarden without Safari support.
Also, I activated Proton Pass on my iOS device before realizing I couldn't use Pass on my Macs — so I wasted my 7-day Pass Plus trial.

Not only the mac extension, but iOS should also have an extension to help automatically save passwords and fill in information such as credit cards

Not having the browser extension for Safari makes switching the Proton Pass impossible. My current password manager has apps for both OSX and iOS, and I'm not going to switch until this function is added. Honestly, I'm shocked this wasn't available on day one.

If you have a Mac with a silicon chip:
1. Install the Proton Pass iPad app on your Mac from the App Store
2. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Extensions > Password AutoFill
3. Select the "AutoFill" option. Now Proton Pass is available in Safari!
