Unlock vault with a master password (instead of pin)
Much like other services offer, using a master password to open the vault is a must, it's way more secure than using a pin
EDIT: Users are logged out after 3 failed attempts to protect against brute force attacks

SUPER IMPORTANT. I can't believe it's not already a feature. 3 login attempts and logged out-big deal. I'm sorry I went with PP. I was using LastPass which has it's issues but at least I had a strong master password.

You offer None, PIN and Biometric as options in your mobile app to unlock and only PIN code in the browser extension. Please add password as an option.

This is one of the features i miss the most after coming from dashlane. I dont use a 6 digit pin code anywhere else, and im used to using my master password to login

Hi, can you please consider adding this? I also think it's critical.
I don't want this just for security purposes, you added logout after 3 attempts which is nice but still worse than using the password.
I also want this because I need to enter my password on a regular basis to not forget it and I don't want to enter wrong pins 3 times to log myself out to do that.
Having PIN access everywhere is a very bad idea. Could you please just add a radio selector or dropdown to select which method to use after auto-lock?

Thanks for the feedback! For now users are logged out after 3 failed PIN attempts to protect against brute force attacks.

Bitwarden, for example, already requests the master password when FaceID fails. ProtonPass should follow the some approach.

I second this! It would also help if the user was given an option of either using their Proton credentials for their master password or setting a new master password that was specific to Pass. Having the option to use your Proton suite password as your master password would make sure that you never forgot it, but there might also be some people who'd wish to create a new one that was just used for Pass.
