Customizable export options
Export feature should have a format option.
Right now, it will export everything including Logins, Aliases, etc. into one .JSON file.
Would be great to be able to customize & format the exported JSON file(s); for example, maybe I want to export in Chromium .CSV Format, or PDF, etc..
As it sits, if you import from Chrome, you will not be able to export back to chrome, which is not fair for those who were not aware before deleting the chromium data.
TLDR; If I can Import a certain format, I should be able to export that same format.

Export as a Keepass file (.kdbx) would be a great backup solution, as the files are already encrypted and the format is open-source.
I think I won't use protonpass without this feature. -

Hi,
In my case, I don't save all my password in the same place.
I always create a backup in keepass for example. So I need to export easily my password 1 time by month for a backup.

They won’t implement the feature to let us export to csv because Proton has just one interest: to lock people in! That’s why they make it hell for everyone who wants to leave. They know very well that no other password manager on this planet uses json or can import it.
I’m disgusted by this business behavior and once I find a way to export my data as csv, I will never return to Proton! -

Exporting to more standard formats would certainly help, especially CSV. The JSON files are "readable" but not easily.
Update: As mentioned by the original poster: The idea of exporting to formats allowed for importing would be great!

At minimum, please add CSV export (in addition to current ProtonPass JSON).
“Portability” is really important. Before I could switch to using ProtonPass as a primary pwd manager, I would need to know I could easily switch to a different one — without the hassle of manually intervening in the export.
