Add 2FA OTP codes via QR codes on desktop
The mobile app allows one to add 2FA codes to a login, but the desktop browser extension does not. The Authenticator extension for e.g. Firefox supports this, so it's definitely possible.
It would be nice to not have to open the app on my phone, scan the screen, and force a sync in the extension to get the ground

This feature definitely needs to be implemented. In 1Password it works great and is very useful.

I was surprised the android app has this but the browser extension does not. Would love to see it added, it's one of the features that makes things easier when I used Bitwarden and use 1Password for work.

Bitwarden's browser extension supports this as well and it really speeds up the workflow of saving new TOTP codes: https://bitwarden.com/help/integrated-authenticator/#tab-browser-extension-4eWjy5G0QLbgxyLIzd91g8

I assume this is a request to allow a code to be typed into your phone or desktop to set up the 2FA OTP initially. Right now, I can only use a camera and a QR picture.

1Password already has this feature for years. Why is it missing in Proton Pass? It is not fun to enter manually TOTP codes into the Proton Pass instead of just scanning QR code from the desktop app or browser extension.
