I second this. This is one of the main reasons that I never use the e-mail suggestion in fields, and always end up in the extension manually creating one.

This. The whole purposes of aliases for me is to avoid giving out my actual mailbox. It's actually a security and privacy risk that I might accidentally sign up for something with it!

I'm not sure how you could robustly detect this, but it'd be great for at least those of us that have ProtonVPN on our routers. Knowing that I'm protected when on-the-go with my phone and laptop, but at home it's all going through the router and not double-VPNing and the like would be amazing.

I see that this might be available on the Business VPN side, but this would be a boon for me, too, and mean that I can stick with Proton VPN for everything and not have to research Tailscale or ZeroTier and deal with any hassles of having multiple VPNs

Only being able to choose one alias suggestion, and no easy way to customize it are reasons that I never use the suggestion popup for e-mail fields.
Even a simple "customize" or "edit" button on the suggestion that loaded up the extension popup in the "create alias" mode would make me actually click something on it!
