How can we improve Proton Pass or Authenticator?

Labeled Vault icons and custom icons

I have difficulties to understand what all Vault icons stands for. It would be easier to choose the appropriate icon for your vault if they are labeled. I wish to request these suggestions beneath:

  1. Labeled Vault icons.
  2. More icons.
  3. Custom icons.

Please vote if you also would like to see this and please share your thoughts or even suggestions to be added to this. Thanks in advance.

    Its the only thing that Authy does better - having moved from them to Proton, I do miss being able to chose whatever icons I want, if Authy can do it, surely Proton should be able to?

    this is a must have, favicons, and also custom icons on items if we want, even if it's from a set list of like, 50 icons we can choose from for custom items and such. please.

    100% it's driving me mad. I am in the process of moving from 1password and de americanising my products, and this seems silly. Please allow us to add the icons or grab from the website.

    Add FAQ in https://proton.me/support/pass for how and why icons are used as they are.
    - Fx is favicons actually collected by your servers and screened before applied to users vaults?
    (this is my thought, but haven't seen it in clear writing anywhere)

    - As a website-owner, is there a specific size/type/ratio you want? e.g. 32x32px, transparency/non-transparency etc?

    Any updates on this please? It would be good to see a wider range of Vault Icons. For example, for accounts related to Travel, there is no icon that fits the category, like a tiny airplane or something like a the icon of the earth.

    I would really like to see Favicons.
    It works very pleasant on other pw managers.
    And it helps you recognize the login faster.

    Better icon fetching for website (favicon)

    Or auto selection of icon that fit best to the entry (password) according to its name/domain

    I agree, this would be a quite simple yet impactful change, and make the Proton Pass app look a lot more appealing.
