Labeled Vault icons and custom icons
I have difficulties to understand what all Vault icons stands for. It would be easier to choose the appropriate icon for your vault if they are labeled. I wish to request these suggestions beneath:
- Labeled Vault icons.
- More icons.
- Custom icons.
Please vote if you also would like to see this and please share your thoughts or even suggestions to be added to this. Thanks in advance.

Any updates on this please? It would be good to see a wider range of Vault Icons. For example, for accounts related to Travel, there is no icon that fits the category, like a tiny airplane or something like a the icon of the earth.

I would really like to see Favicons.
It works very pleasant on other pw managers.
And it helps you recognize the login faster. -

Better icon fetching for website (favicon)
Or auto selection of icon that fit best to the entry (password) according to its name/domain

It would be nice to be able to modify login icons, and have a simple web search to easily find the right icons and use them

I agree, this would be a quite simple yet impactful change, and make the Proton Pass app look a lot more appealing.

Yes, I just came over from 1password and this is literally the worst downside in comparison. If I had known that sooner I might've reconsidered

For some saved logins, there is no icon for the site at all.
I would be happy if the provision of icons was improved.
There is currently far too much white in the icons. This could be improved and the icons could be displayed larger. -

In Proton Pass, each login has a 'websites' field. If that field is filled with a particular website (e.g., https://protonmail.uservoice.com/, https://www.wikipedia.org/), the login will have a custom icon associated with that website. This functionality is implemented for various well-known and highly used websites. However, there are also numerous websites with distinct logos that could reasonably be used as an icon, but which are unimplemented as such.
This is understandable, due to the enormous number of websites that Proton would have to independently consider to be comprehensive in this regard. As such, I would like to suggest a feature that instead allows users to request such an implementation. That is, if a user is sufficiently familiar with a website to know it has an established logo that could be reasonably implemented as an icon, and it currently is not, this feature would allow the user to inform Proton and request an icon for the website.
This feature removes the need for Proton to actively search for websites' icons, since users would themselves provide websites and associated logos/potential icons they would like implemented. And if the request is indeed implemented, that would likely increase the usability of the application by making it easier to identify particular login information.

I would need this as well. This IMO is essential, especially for Credit Cards, which always use the default placeholder icon

The present ProtonPass icon is too similar to the Proton VPN, it would be so cool if Proton could think of customizing the small icon app with a small symbol (a 🔑, a 🔒, a 🛡️, just to name a few), just like the tiny "31" on the ProtonCalendar icon.
This will help nerd users like me to avoid clicking the wrong app. 😇

Having images makes a cluttered Pass look visually cleaner but also easier to navigate what you are looking for.
