ASCII Symbols in generated Passwords
Currently you can allow/disallow Numbers, Capital letters, and special symbols. Some websites only allow short passwort length. To recover some security in that scenario, Proton Pass should add the option to allow/disallow extended ASCII Symbols.

Make identities global (not URL dependent)
The identities feature that was added recently is a great addition. Thank you, Proton team.
Currently, it only shows the identities if the search bar's content is removed.
I prefer that all identities be global and not URL- or search-bar-dependent. This way, I can access all identities on whatever site I am on without any extra steps.
What do you think?

Treat note as basic type
Right now notes are treated as something completely separate, but it could be better from architectural perspective, if they were the basic type (or class in developers' language) with ability to add custom fields (as we can to logins at least), and then all other entities would expand it with custom pre-defined fields (possibly non-removable). This would simplify adding new types of entities down the line, and allow users to simply create their own "types" (maybe even actually save them as types in the app even) by simply adding required fields to a note. Change Sort Button To Make It More Intuitive
Please consider changing the interface for sorting vault items. It is not immediately apparent that the button for sorting is a drop down menu which contains additional items. By adding a down arrow "v", like most drop down menus have, it would make it more apparent that additional options are available. It took me way too long to figure out how to sort vault items. Thanks for considering this suggestion.

improve account creation
When creating a new account, I've had it happen multiple times now that the generated password is lost, since protonpass doesn't ask for the creation of a new login. This means that I have to tediously click the "forgot password" button, then doing everything manually.
It would be much better to have the login creation done right when the generated password is being filled in, instead of at some point afterwards.

Associate login and alias so they appear as one entry in list
When I sign up to a website I create an alias and create a login entry for that alias. They both then appear next to each other in the vault list. It would improve usability if you could hold down on two or more items in the vault list and Associate them so that they appear under the same heading.

Have a static, and unique, link for passwords in shared folder
My team have passwords in shared folders, some are viewer, some are admins.
We would like to be able to have a link (or a protocol, with the proton pass app), that can open proton pass to a password in a shared folder, regardless of the user, as long as the said user can view the folder / password.Currently, the shared folder has a different ID for each user, which mean we can't share a link (a password in a shared folder has the same ID between user however).

Add option to pause autosave prompt on Android
My banking app asks for different numbers from my personal access code every time I use it & Proton Pass keeps asking if I want save the password. It would be nice to have an option to tell Pass to ignore this specific app.

Exclude only certain fields from monitoring, not everything
I can elect to exclude a login entry from monitoring; however, I usually only want to ignore a particular warning, not the entire entry.
For example, I have a number of logins without 2FA as I use a security key on those services. I can't indicate to Proton Pass that I use a superior security key as 2FA. So, my only options are to:
- Exclude the entire login from monitoring.
- Put up with a perpetual but irrelevant warning stating I have a login without 2FA.
- Add a junk 2FA entry to the login to hide the missing 2FA warning.

Passkeys and Password Health
If I have a login that has a passkey but no password, I don't get any password health indicator. Conversely, if I add a random but strong password, I get a "strong" indicator.
The strongest password is a passkey and no password at all, therefore, passkeys should indicate "strong" even if the password is blank.
If I have a passkey and no password, the password field should be hidden.

Lock extension by default
Every time I install the ProtonPass Firefox extension I have to remember to set a lock pin, otherwise the extension remains vulnerable.
Sometimes the extension updates itself, and even if it forces me to log in again (which is OK) the pin is lost, so I have to remember to set a pin again or be vulnerable.I understand the pin is local to that extension, so my proposal is to follow what other password managers does, which is to lock with the password account if no pin has been set.

Lock Vault on Screen Saver
It is sometimes tricky to time the vault lock interval. In the morning, I go through a dozen logins and keep re-entering my passcode. The rest of the day, I hardly touch things.
Given I am not worried about someone accessing my passwords when I am actually at my computer, the concern is when I am away. If the vault could lock when my computer screen saver comes on (or when my machine sleeps, etc.), that would be perfect. Updating Passwords
When generating a new password for a login, after each attempt it asks if I want to update the login. Sometimes I find, due to a sites password requirements, I have to generate multiple passwords before one is sufficient and each time PP asks if I want to update the account info each time, so if possible, PP should only ask to update the password until I've actually updated it in the particular site

Android App Association Field
At the moment it is possible for Proton Pass to remember which app is associated with which password, however it will only do this after logging in with the app. I have manually moved over all of my passwords from KeePassDX and on KeePassDX there was a field for the app association, I have entered the app package names into the website field on Proton Pass but that doesn't associate it, I would like a field added so that we can associate a login with an app package name. Optimize search for login info in username suggestion dropdown
When accessing a domain with many user accounts saved (for example gmail), the dropdown with suggestion for username can be big, so it would be useful if I start typing my name "mike..." it shows password for that, right now I need to scroll trough all suggestions and choose or sometimes guess as I dont see entire value in that menu to choose from.
