1. Hide "get mobile apps" & "advanced" [on MacOS/Desktop]

   "Get Mobile apps" & "Advanced" are currently prominently displayed in the side menu of the MacOS/Desktop app. Even when I have already installed the mobile apps... it's a bit redundant and just adds unnecessary clutter to the UI. I would love for these to be able to be hidden.

2. Authenticator app encrypted export

   Allow user to set password to create encrypted export of the MFA codes. This feature is in many other apps, and prevents relying on cloud platforms (e.g. iCloud, Proton itself) to create & restore backups.

3. reorder custom key value pairs

   Allow for added custom key value pairs to be dragged and dropped in any order including above or below default key value pairs.
   e.g.
   For "Login" items, the default key value pairs are "Username" and "Password". If I were to create a custom key value pair called "PIN", I may want to reorder the key value pairs so that "PIN" sits in the order between "Username" and "Password"

4. Proton pass doesn't work consistently

   I really like proton mail app and VPN and want to use pass to stay with the same system but it doesn't show automatic suggestions in gboard consistently enough. It doesn't respond to log in fields that often or offer passwords when needed sometimes I need to delete what's on my clipboard before it works. Very frustrating as having to open the app every time is a chore. I tried to save a recently created login, it took me to the app but then I had to re-enter the details myself, luckily I had the password copied as I previously tried to auto create one by pressing the pass link but on opening the app could not create a new password separately i had to create a new login and do it in the password field, copy it manually and then close the app and then re-enter all the details once the login had been created. I'm trying to understand it better but it doesn't seem to respond reliably which is a shame. I know I am getting alot for my money with the plus subscription and I am looking to upgrade just wish it worked a bit more seemlessly. I'm using opera, I don't know if that makes a difference?Thanks

6. Save flight booking information

   Offer to save (when booking on desktop) flight booking reference code and last name, so that it could be easily filled in again to check flight information, it’s annoying to have to keep copy pasting the reference code each time I want to see my flight information.

7. Initial "Personalize" pop-up supression

   Every time I log into ProtonPass on a browser, I get the "Personalize: Make it your own" pop-up, that requires three clicks to go through. I am fine with the default settings, but I even tried making adjustments to the settings and the pop-up still shows up each time.

   Please add a way for users who are not interested in changing their settings to not have to get the pop-up every single time! Having to click through this pop-up every time is annoying!

11. Require Extra Password for selected items only

    As a Visionary user, my Proton account is protected by many assets. I set a very strong password to protect my Proton account, and I cannot remember it (that is why I need a password manager). It would be a nightmare if I had to enter my main password to access an item. Extra Password for Selected Items feature would allow me to use a simpler password to add more protection for the item.

    Hi Proton Pass team,

    First, thanks for the great extension — it works reliably and I appreciate the attention to security and functionality. I have a suggestion to improve the user experience of the popup/flyout UI that I think would make it feel cleaner and more modern.

    Problem: the current flyout feels large and a bit cluttered. When I open it I want to quickly find an item, not scan through a lot of visual noise.

    Proposal: introduce a compact, customizable flyout option that focuses on clarity and platform consistency:

    Compact mode: a minimal flyout that shows either a simple list of items or a list of folders with a single search bar at the top. No extra panels or large empty areas — just the essentials for fast access.

    Customizable shape and size: allow users to reduce the overall size and choose larger rounded corners so the popup feels softer and less boxy.

    Platform-aware styling: offer optional themes or subtle visual tweaks to better match Windows 11 (rounded, translucent surfaces) and macOS “liquid glass” aesthetics, so the extension feels native on each OS.

    Less clutter by default: hide secondary controls behind a small menu or settings link so the main flyout remains focused on search and selection.

    This would make the extension faster to use and visually more cohesive with modern OS design languages. I’d love to see a toggle in settings to switch between the current layout and the proposed compact mode.

    Currently on the Proton Pass firefox extension, I can sort my items by most recent, alphabetically, newest, oldest.

    On the windows app there is only "most recent".

    Add these sorts to the windows app.

15. Proton pass - separate aliases into their own folder by default, separate from logins

    On purging my logins/passwords I accidentally also deleted all my aliases, as they're all thrown into the same default folder. They should be in a separate folder by default for clarity that deleting one is deleting the alias itself, not just a saved login/password.

16. pass-cli

    Hello I just downloaded pass-cli on the beta channel using the curl command provided at https://protonpass.github.io/pass-cli/get-started/installation/
    To be honest I don't have any particular NEED for accessing the cli tool, but figured I would install it because who knows, maybe i'd find some use for it.

    Instantly I was met with an issue that frankly I find unacceptable from a company the size of proton... You release a brand new cli tool, and don't include a manpage... I get that the documentation is available online, and pass-cli help/ --help provide a tiny bit of assistance, but come on. I feel like the creation of a manpage has to be the easiest thing possible when it comes to developing any cli tool, and if you can't do that we're supposed to somehow trust you with the most sensitive/ valuable information on the face of this earth?

    at first I was going to complain about the fact you don't provide command completion. Because typically upon installing a new cli tool the very first thing is "command" <space> <tab> followed by "command" <space> "-" <tab> So I can get an idea of what sub commands/ options are available to me. Not all tools provide completion though, and I reluctantly accept that fact when faced with it. However after that test failed, and I went to open the man page just to be greeted by "No manual entry for pass-cli" I was genuinely turned off.

    This means that every time I want to do something I'd have --help multiple times until I figure out what my final command needs to be, and even still that's not always enough e.g.:
    1. pass-cli --help
    2. pass ssh-agent --help
    3. pass ssh-agent load --help

    to finally get:
    Load SSH keys from Proton Pass into the system SSH agent

    Usage: pass-cli ssh-agent load [OPTIONS]

    Options:
    --share-id <SHARE_ID> Share ID of the vault to load keys from
    --vault-name <VAULT_NAME> Name of the vault to load keys from
    -h, --help Print help

    So I try:
    pass-cli ssh-agent load --vault-name Notes --help

    Which gives me the same help prompt as above, so I just try:
    pass-cli ssh-agent load --vault-name Notes

    And I am met with:
    Error: Failed to load SSH keys from vaults

    Caused by:
    0: Failed to load SSH keys from vaults
    1: Error finding vault
    2: Could not find vault Notes

    No I do not have any ssh keys in that vault, but what if I had multiple. What do I do? Theres no tab completion to give me a hint at the next input, no man page to load up to definitively answer that question. Luckily I still had https://protonpass.github.io/pass-cli/get-started/installation/ open in my browser so I didn't have to twiddle around for too long just to find out you can only import all ssh keys within a vault in one go instead of individual ones, but that shouldn't be the case. And if your tool requires that the user reference a document webpage in order to use it, you absolutely should have a way for the user to easily pull up said webpage whenever they need it i.e. linking it in the man page that doesn't exist.

    EDIT:
    As if that wasn't enough I decided to remove the tool until until it has gone through it's teething process a bit, and shocker (sarcasm. I'm not at all shocked at this point) theres no uninstall instructions. I'm afraid to even "rm -rf ~/.local/bin/pass-cli" at this point even though I believe (hope) that is the only thing the curl command installed on my system because I wouldn't be surprised if doing so would leave behind some orphan files. Whereas leaving it installed until an update adds an uninstall command or more documentation is created explaining how to properly uninstall the tool. Come on proton. At this point I've been a Proton Unlimited subscriber for over 2 years meaning I personally have contributed over $300 of my hard earned money to the company. I expect better from you.

17. Feature parity between iOS and Android clients

    Please make both iOS and Android clients on par feature-wise. At the moment, the iOS app seems to be more developed with enhanced search features and the ability to clone individual vault items - something the Android app cannot do.

19. Respect system highlight and accent colours

    On macOS (and, I assume, on all other OSes as well), Proton Pass pays no attention to the user-specified highlight and accent colours that are set in System Settings. Although Proton's purple colour scheme is a pleasant change from the usual blue nightmare that some other apps use, it would be even better if it would use the user's preferences when highlighting text and UI elements as a Mac app should.

    Biometrics are not as secure as e.g. 6-digit PIN code. Other apps like 2FAS have this feature.
