Select default vault for entry creation
When creating a new entry in Proton Pass, the default vault is always the same, likely the one with the oldest creation date.
There is no way to choose the default vault when creating manually an entry. In most of the cases it'll be the "Personal" vault, but when the users deleted this one for a reason or another (I did it because it was the only way I found to delete the dozens of passwords I imported mistakenly in it), the default vault is another one, and sometimes a shared one (this is my case).
Beyond the inconvenience, this…

Download icon from URL
KeepassX has a really nice feature where you can download and set the icon on the item using the favicon of the URL on the entry. Adding a "download icon" button would allow the icon to be set/updated on existing entries.

Be able to lock notes
I find it crucial to be able to lock notes, they can include important data like backup codes, and if someone has access to them, they will be able to bypass even two-factor authentication which is detrimental to security. Being able to lock notes is therefore a more than necessary idea.

Personalize alias
Actually, when we want to create an alias through Proton Pass, the suggestions are like :
- visitedwebsite.tld as a prefix
- a few suffixes like @personaldomain.tld or @subdomain.simplelogin.com, or many others like the previous onesSince many years, I create my aliases as visitedwebsite0123@personaldomain.tld, which seems more convenient to me. 0123 is a random string given by a script I wrote to remember and create my aliases.
So, a great feature would be to be able to personalize the way to create prefixes, with something like :visitedwebsite([0-9a-z]{4})@mydomain.tld, as an example.

Absolutely necessary features!
Without these, migrating from apps such as 1Password is NOT yet possible:
On the left tab, we can only see "Vaults" - where are the different categories to be easily selected?
Attachments, attachments, attachments!
a new category "Software Licenses" for specific license information;
Documents perhaps? Passport, ID, etc.

Option to unlock vault with 2FA
I really like how Norton Password Manager requires unlocking the vault with 2FA after opening the browser. This keeps passwords secure even if the computer is unlocked. I'd love to see a similar feature in Proton Pass!

hide alias in proton pass
After creating log on, it is confusing to have 2 lines in Proton Pass displayed, one is with user and password and other line is with alias. We do not need both to be displayed under each other. Please add an option to hide alias, since that is not needed.

Use native autofill in mac instead of safari extension
Current pass implementation is using safari extension. Instead please add a native app that implement auto fill and can be used for autofilling desktop apps.

Autofill forms
It should be possible to have other personal data filled out via autofill (e.g. addresses, birth date etc.).

Drag and drop in desktop app
It would be neat to drag and drop credentials from the desktop app similar to how you can in 1Password where it types the password in for you when you drag a credential over a field.

Random Email Alias w/ Custom Domain
Currently, when normally using the Random Email Alias feature, it's randomized per website! For example:
Facebook: facebook.blashpomy29483@passmail.net
Spotify: spotify.funtime492927@passmail.netThis type of randomization is why it's more secure. If you use a Custom Domain, this option is not possible so long as you have the custom domain linked to your account (thus SimpleLogin account).
So now, it will be:
Facebook: facebook@domain.com
Spotify: spotify@domain.There should be a checkbox to make it randomized or not make it randomized. As with this randomization (website.word-numbers@passmail.net) it is more secure.

Optimize search for login info in username suggestion dropdown
When accessing a domain with many user accounts saved (for example gmail), the dropdown with suggestion for username can be big, so it would be useful if I start typing my name "mike..." it shows password for that, right now I need to scroll trough all suggestions and choose or sometimes guess as I dont see entire value in that menu to choose from.

Use own domain for alias
With the growing popularity of Proton Pass and Hide Me, more systems will detect and block hide-me domains. To bypass this, offer the option to create an alias using my own domain.

option to sort passwords/login username/login email alphabetically so that duplicates can be deleted
Option to sort passwords/login username/login email alphabetically so that duplicates can be deleted, also there should be a feature to multi-select all the rows in between while holding shift. (just like we can on Excel)

search or Filter on the password selection when user id and password has to be entered
when on the web screen you need to select a user id it says log in as, if you have a box there in which we can input the password and it only shows that it will be great as if we have multiple user id for a website it is difficult scrolling and finding the one you wish to use. We can just type couple of unique name and select the one form condensed list
