Link Items to other Items
Using finance as my example.
Currently as it stands, I can have a vault for Finance, it would include items such as Notes, Card, Login, Other... For one bank. Add multiple banks, and you get a very cluttered vault, very quickly, mixed with Notes, Logins, Cards that all say something similar. If you add other categories to the mix, the clutter expands.
In my case, I would like the ability to create a vault that just houses my Logins, but has the ability to link the logins to my Notes, Cards, Identity, or Other for that particular bank's login that…

Authenticator: view modes
I use Aegis as my authenticator app. I'd like to switch to Proton Authenticator, but it's missing a few features.
One important feature would be the ability to change the view. For example, Aegis lets you switch from the normal view to a compact view. This allows you to see the first 10 entries on a single page. You can even make it smaller, so you can fit 16 entries on one page.
This makes it possible to have the most frequently used 2FA codes readily accessible without annoying scrolling.

integrate support for checking passwords using the haveibeenpwned site
If someone changes a password for a login, offer a toggle to allow it being checked with the haveibeenpwned site. All data would be encrypted, or as much as possible. https://haveibeenpwned.com/Passwords is the site in question.

Export Custom‑Domain Alias List as a Locked .txt File with Automatic Self‑Destruct after Import
Description / Context
Background – When users create custom domain aliases in Proton Pass, they often need to export the list of generated passwords/aliases to another password‑manager or service. Currently there is no built‑in way to bulk‑download these credentials in a portable format that also respects security best practices.Proposed feature – Add an “Export as locked .txt” option to the alias‑management screen. The exported file would:
Contain the alias names and their associated passwords (or a user‑chosen subset).
Be encrypted/locked with a passphrase supplied by the user at export time, so the file cannot be opened without that passphrase.

Copy Custom Item Types to Enter Multiple Items for that Custom Item.
Allow a custom item type to be copied so that it can be used several times without having to recreate all of the fields for a custom item type you have already created. I created a new custom item type called Vehicle and included VIN, Make, Model, Year, Purchase Date, and Licence as fields for this new custom item type. Since I can't reuse the custom item type I created, I have to create it again, and again, for every vehicle I own. Proton Pass item types would become too cluttered if it provided every conceivable item type users want,…

Please add a feature to allow vaults to be stored locally on a device (phone, computer, usb drive) not just on your servers
I do understand that your vaults are stored somewhere on your servers. This does have some advantages.
To my mind it has one big disadvantage. You have and control my most critical information, that is passwords/private keys to my finances, interactions with the state etc. not just my Netflix login. Yes, I understand the vault is securely encrypted as well as you can make it.I would like to retain possession of my own vault. I can keep it on a removable physical device (like a Ubikey) so that I can plug it in for only as long as I…

Please add a easy access - quick button to enable and disable Kill-Switch
I am an avid user of Kill-Switch and it is tedious as it is now, I would love to see a quick button on the main page of the settings at least, so we can quickly enable and disable the Kill-Switch on PC, also maybe include it on the android widget. Alot of wireless networks require you to deal with a pop-up and 'click accept' before you can connect and this does not work while using VPN. I think that this would reduce the time that we are unprotected by allowing us to quickly reenable our Kill-Switch to halt the…

Proton Pass Desktop App: Stay on top toggle
Add a toggle so that the proton pass desktop app will always be stay on top. 99% of the time I'm opening the desktop app its to copy paste a username and password and it would be convenient if the app would stay on top so I don't have to bring it back up again or manually pin the window if the window I'm entering the login on is fullscreen

UI - Compact/Slim UI Mode for Browser Extension [Pass]
The current Proton Pass extension feels overly wide and "clunky" compared to the high-density, vertical design of Bitwarden, which prioritises utility over whitespace. By comparing the two, it's clear that Proton's use of large cards, heavy padding, and a wide two-pane layout reduces information density, forcing more scrolling and taking up too much screen real estate. I am requesting a "Compact Mode" toggle that slims down the extension width, reduces vertical padding in the "Autofill suggestions" list, and provides a more streamlined, list-based view for power users who prefer efficiency and a smaller visual footprint.

Support The Apple Password Manager Resources Standard
Apple is working on Password Manager Resources. A resource to share password rules, the URL for a password change, and combines URLs that support the same login. It is ready to be implemented into password managers today.
From their own GitHub:
Having password managers collaborate on these resources has three high-level benefits:
By sharing resources, all password managers can improve their quality with less work than it'd take for any individual password manager to achieve the same effect.
By publicly documenting website-specific behaviors, password managers can offer an incentive for websites to use standards or emerging standards to improve their…6 votes -

Add a simplified view of Items in the Proton Pass browser extension
People who are not tech savvy need to be able to use password managers like Proton. Add an extremely simple single page extension view they can use to select, launch, and auto login to sites such as their bank. Proton is a superior system, but I have to leave some of my family on LastPass because it has an extremely easy to use interface. Proton is just too complex for them to navigate.

Auto clean pass-names like "auth.services.adobe.com" to "Adobe"
Right now my pasword list is LITTERED with names like "acc, account, auth, authorize, api, oauth2,...". There's however always a very clear brand/website/service somewhere in the name. Please make Pass automatically remove all the tech-names, we don't need those in the main name. If you then click on the password, I don't care if there's a bunch of technical adresses and names under the "websites" heading. Just don't put it all in the name. Thanks!
