Add participants on iOS
I have started playing around with Proton Calendar in beta. It looks nice. I cannot see a way to share events to other people or invite them to an event (internally to other ProtonCal users or externally to people using other calendar services). Is this feature available? If not, is it in development?
Thanks :)
The ability to invite participants on iOS is now available!

This doesn't seem to have the attention/votes that I expected it to have. Trying to get others in my family to use Proton is made very difficult due to this issue specifically.

In my family we use Google Calendar because we share our individual calendars between each other. What blocks me from fully migrating to Proton Calendar is that at this point in time it cannot be shared with Google Calendar and Google Calendar cannot be shared with Proton Calendar. All this must be synchronous, meaning all the event cancellations and edits must be reflected in all the views for all the family members.

It's ridiculous that this is still not implemented on iOS.

Yes please, as going though the web settings is not at all optimized and inconvenient for users less at ease with web and technology. I convinced my wife to buy a Proton sub for sharing calendars with privacy in mind and she struggles to do basic stuff and so do I.

I am interested in Proton Calendar for iOS allowing calendar sharing so that others can share the calendar without needing to do it through the web. I have two family members with my calendars shared, and from the iOS app, they cannot share on my calendars. They have to do it through the web.

I would argue that it's only 80% done :)
It's still not possible to edit the event once participants are in, so any changes still need to be done in the Web app. -

I can't understand why after 4 years of this post we still don't have this feature. It's for me the only reason why proton calendar is still not a viable solution for people that use iOS.

This is the only reason why my wife does not use proton calendar yet! Please make this happen! :)

Once I invite a participant through the web app, I can no longer edit the event through the iOS app. Why so complicated? I invite people to events all the time. Isn’t this considered base-line v1.0 functionality?

Don't know why this isn't implemented yet.

This IMHO is critical. When i helped my wife switch from Outlook to Proton she was dissapointed how such a basic feature is available on the Android Version but not on IOS Version. Imagine having to remember to check your PC in the evening just to invite people to a calendar entry.

Creating calendar items on iOS mobile app is fine, but I seriously need to be able to add participants from mobile, as well.
As it is, I have to create the item in the app then go to the web app to add any participants. This is very far from user friendly.

I was a little disappointed, having moved over from Gsuite, setting Proton up, including calendar, and then finding out that you can't invite participants for a simple event, when using calendar on IOS.
Why is that not possible? Security issues? I don't get it. To me, it's critical to share and include people for your events, otherwise it's useless. -

Thank you for making this request. Perhaps spoiled with corporate tools, I originally assumed this was going to be a basic functionality. Is this feature on the roadmap?

Yes. I would have though this would have been an MVP feature!

What is the timeline for this? We may have to go to another service if this doesn’t get added for iOS.
