IMAP/SMTP + TLS support
Multi support are needed for heavy mail client (Outlook/Thunderbird/Evolution etc...)
Web access only is too limited

The ProtonMail Bridge supports IMAP/SMTP support for desktop clients: https://protonmail.com/blog/thunderbird-outlook-encrypted-email/

Do you have an Idea when IMAP functionality will be rolled out? Like protonmail a lot, but might cancel if I can not have this feature :-(

Happy New Year, Protonmail Team!
Even if it's not ready, could you give us an update on where things stand for IMAP/SMTP support?
Thank you!

Well I recently created and account and was trying to set it up on my em mail, but I just figured out it doesn't have imap, smtp , tls support, I don't think I will be using this client anytime soon if you guys can't support this. Thanks.

IMAP/SMTP + TLS support FOR ALL!!!
This functionality should be open to everyone and it does not make sense to be open only to those who pay. Not everyone can pay the internet in certain countries is extremely expensive for an ordinary worker.

Like many of the other recent posters have asked: do you have an update on the availability of IMAP support? Many of us are quite excited to see this functionality!

God bless you for IMAP support.
It'll be only for premium users?

You say you have started IMAP, but what about SMTP + TLS? Protonmail is a non-starter if we can't send mail through it from outside applications like web sites or servers (with the obvious known caveat that it would not be encrypted most likely). We would happily pay for Protonmail today but can't because we need SMTP support.
