Option to download all emails as single encrypted archive file.
It would be great to be able to simply download an encrypted archive of all emails for backup or migration or offline access.

I think this would not only be a great idea but at some point this mailing system might seem antiquated without it

This would be a perfect feature, if it would be possible to limit the time range. So I could make a backup for a month or a year for example.

yeah, really just want a way to back up all my emails. since pop3 and imap aren't supported, we don't have a way to backup our data.

On google if a people want to change email address or close the account there is the possibility to Download the entire email archive.
Please add this feature to protonmail.
Actually is a CLOSED system, everything enter can't exit.
And this is wrong.

It wouldn't even have to be encrypted, but a way to download all messages would in any case be highly beneficial:
- I might not want to have my mails sitting in the cloud for all eternity... not even at protonmail. So old mails could be downloaded, archived locally and removed from the server.
- It is always a good idea to have a local backup in case the service is discontinued some day or a major data loss occurs. -

Yes, certainly as with a mere 500mbs!, emails add up quickly.
(I can remember when 1mb was a lot.)
