This is a a crucial feature. Both Gmail and Outlook have it, so I'd really expect it here

I strongly request a home screen widget for the Proton Mail Android app, similar to the Gmail widget.

Currently, there is no way to quickly view unread emails or preview recent messages without opening the app. For daily use, this is a significant limitation. A widget is a basic usability feature on Android and has become a standard expectation for email apps.

I would like to be able to see a list of the lastest emails from my Proton inbox in a widget on my Android phone.

Switching from google calendar, the proton calendar android widget has a really bad overview, preventing me from using it. The header is unnecessary large. See google calendar widget, small, tidy all infos visible that are required.

Critical. Need an email widget, stat.

Email client widgets are really useful. Since email is not a social platform, you don't often open it unless you know you are waiting for an email. I have missed deadlines a few times already. A widget that I can see at all times would really help!

This feature is a main reason I’m currently waiting to fully switch to Proton. The Apple Mail widget is the first thing I see on my phone’s home screen, and it has gotten an essential part of my daily routine.

Would love to see an update on this. I've been holding out for this feature for a few years... Pretty please can we have this?

This is the main thing keeping me from migrating from gmail.

It's the only thing keeping me from making proton my primary mail app.

Are there any dev resources allocated to making some Android home screen widgets for ProtonMail and ProtonCalendar? Seems doable.

I build mobile apps for Android and iOS. Any chance ya'll would want to work with me to get a calendar widget created?
