Windows Phone app
I've windows phone
At this time, there is not sufficient demand, or sufficient resources, to justify developing for Windows Phone.
In order to best direct our resources, we are going to leave development of a Windows phone ProtonMail app to the user community, and we will support any open source initiative to accomplish this.

A universal windows app would be ideal. Might be very easy:
- port the iOS app to UWP using the iOS bridge (https://dev.windows.com/en-us/bridges/ios)
- port the website to UWP using the hosted webapp bridge
(https://microsoftedge.github.io/WebAppsDocs/en-US/win10/HWA.htm) -

A universal Windows app would be great. Having one would be extremely beneficial and would alleviate the need for integration into Outlook, in all honesty. I think most people that are Windows users would not object to having two different mail apps if one provided increased security.

I think ProtonMail would be perfect on Windows 10 with an universal app to have notifications and better usability both on PCs and smartphones (I know Win Mobile is used by a tiny fraction of mobile user, but since the app is universal, it would benefit of the huge installation base of Windows PCs).

It works quite well through the Edge browser, but would be even more awesome to have a dedicated app :)

I just signed up and am waiting for my invite to use protonmail. I am a loyal Windows Phone user, and I believe in WP with all my being.
I won't go on about how WP is objectively better than Android or iOS; all I ask is, please bring a protonmail app to WP10.

Yep. Windows app will be good. But dont know how many users required this. If you guys need somebody for developing this application, I would like to be volunteer for that.

A Windows Phone 8/10 app will be very helpful!
Potentially this can also be used on tablets or laptops without significant changes -

HaKr, false about WP. Only some statistic is sent. Also you forgot Apple OS's. :)

Nit a bad idea, but anything on WIndows or Android has to be assumed to be automatically sent to Google/Microsoft.

Strange logic: unkile Android and iOS the most protected mobile OS (Windows Phone/ Windows 10 Mobile) still don't have app of the most protected email-service. Also it would be great to make this app universal (UWP).
