2. Use proton.ch domain

   Some users want to use a domain that is under Swiss jurisdiction. This is why Proton lets us end our addresses with protonmail.ch.

   However, that domain is quite long. This is why Proton added pm.me as an alias and then added proton.me as an optional ending.

   The .me domain is under the jurisdiction of Montenegro, who is a member of NATO and is joining the European Union.

   Proton owns the proton.ch domain. Please let us end our email addresses with proton.ch instead of proton.me.

3. Get rid if app tracking

   According to my app tracking protection,the Proton mail app is sending tracking information to Adobe. Being a privacy centric company, I am assuming this issue slipped through the cracks during android app development.
   I can't possibly be the first person who noticed this.
   Is proton willingly allowing third parties to collect my personal information from my Android phone? Is Proton aware of these third-party trackers? Do I need to delete the app and switch to accessing Proton mail only via the web app?
   I sent an email to support about this issue. After a second email explaining exactly what an app tracker is, the support rep continued to tell me email tracker protection was coming. I'm hoping this forum can shed some light on this issue for me.

8. Improve mobile app UI after last major refactoring

   Hi Proton Team

   After the major UI refactoring of the Android mail app some weeks ago, we're struggling with some of the changes. In fact there are two things which are really distracting. Let me explain:

   1. Differentiate between read and unread mails

   It is very difficult to simply "see" which mails are new and which ones are already read. The only difference seems to be, that new mails are listed using bold font where already read emails are using the normal font. It doesn't matter which theme is used, you need to have a deeper look to recognize "oh, I've already read this mail".

   Please improve the inbox layout in such a way that it is clear with a blink of an eye, which mails are "new" (unread) and which ones are "old" (already read).

   1. Option to remove the icons in front of mail list

   If the mobile device is a rather small one, the used space on the display is precious. So there should be an option to disable the icons in front of each mail within the mail list. Especially if you're heavily using automated sorting into folders, you're running into the situation, where the icon is the same for each entry on the list. This is wasted space on the screen.

   It would be very much appreciated, if you could take these suggestions into account for further improvements. Please let me know, if you need further details.

    I have recently struggled to use Proton email alias addresses. Many companies are now automatically blacklisting the alias domains and preventing me from doing simple tasks such as sign-ups and registrations. This makes the alias service practically useless.

    Please do something to fix the poor domain reputations so that we can go back to using our generated alias' as they were intended. Thank you.

    For users that have been with Proton for a long time and created an [account username]@protonmail.com and/or [account user name]@pm.me email address, you are not allowed to delete or deactivate these addresses. Needs change over time and Proton has offered newer domains that many of us switched to, but we cannot delete or deactivate those original addresses in settings or by emailing customer service.you can delete or deactivate other aliases, but none that have your original user name before the @. This should be easy to do and we should not be required to keep these old addresses active. Please stop merging this idea with other ideas. There is currently no other submitted idea here that matches this user story or use case.

16. Bridge for old computer such PPC Mac

    A lot of local activists who are using protonmail for fight against dictatorships and are still using old platforms to design posters, banners and staff like this are using old Mac computer with PPC. I know some gay communities in Minsk and other Burmese artists with old computers who will love to see such implementation. Sometimes, we, the occidental people forget that a computer is registered for governments (like a weapon in EU) so to let know the dictators that you have a computer is dangerous (like in Algeria or Morocco). This activists has old computers to generate posters and staff like this. Let´s help them and bring them a bridge. If not they are risking their lives in cibercoffes.

    As much as we would like to support as many platforms as possible, our primary concern needs to be security. We cannot recommend to use our software on operating systems with known security issues; the older the system, the more such issues exisit.

    Bridge is not designed to be used on mobile and we have no plans to change that. We recommend using our native iOS app.

    I'm paid user, and I can't have "always-on" ProtonVPN on my computer, but on the other side, I would like to have Proton mail in my favorite email client always updated.
