I would be interested in paying for $25 per YEAR (not month) for Unlimited domains & UNLIMITED addresses.
I would be interested in paying $25/YEAR for Unlimited domains and addresses.
I use catch-all and have probably 5 trillion trillion trillion possibilities and am not interested in paying MONEY to use an email ONCE.
I want to be able to RECEIVE AND SEND from ALL domains and all email aliases, unlimited possibilities for each domain, and I have a lot of domains.
PRESENTLY I GET ALL OF THIS 100% FOR FREE WITH GOOGLE APPS and I am unlimited grandfathered in forever. It allows 100 maximum SEND FROM emails, when I use them all I will just remove some I…
217 votesWe will review our planes and try to make adjustments that will enable more users to afford ProtonMail.
However, this request is impossible to honour due to the way our business model is developed.
Contrary to Google, ProtonMail is not reading its users’ emails for advertising purposes, it does not serve ads, and it does not abuse personal data.
As a result, our only income to maintain and develop the service comes from our users, and not from the advertising market.
Google can offer all of this for free because you are not paying for the product with money, but with your privacy.

Use proton.ch domain
Some users want to use a domain that is under Swiss jurisdiction. This is why Proton lets us end our addresses with protonmail.ch.
However, that domain is quite long. This is why Proton added pm.me as an alias and then added proton.me as an optional ending.
The .me domain is under the jurisdiction of Montenegro, who is a member of NATO and is joining the European Union.
Proton owns the proton.ch domain. Please let us end our email addresses with proton.ch instead of proton.me.
186 votesThe @protonmail.ch address is available. @proton.ch is not something we are able to give out.

Get rid if app tracking
According to my app tracking protection, the Proton mail app is sending tracking information to Adobe. Being a privacy centric company, I am assuming this issue slipped through the cracks during android app development.
I can't possibly be the first person who noticed this.
Is proton willingly allowing third parties to collect my personal information from my Android phone? Is Proton aware of these third-party trackers? Do I need to delete the app and switch to accessing Proton mail only via the web app?
I sent an email to support about this issue. After a second email explaining exactly what an…84 votesWe don't send tracking information to Adobe. Please note UserVoice is a feature-requesting community space, if you require customer support please contact us on proton.me/support.

Ability to Delete or Deactivate Original Account Email Address
For users that have been with Proton for a long time and created an [account username]@protonmail.com and/or [account user name]@pm.me email address, you are not allowed to delete or deactivate these addresses. Needs change over time and Proton has offered newer domains that many of us switched to, but we cannot delete or deactivate those original addresses in settings or by emailing customer service.you can delete or deactivate other aliases, but none that have your original user name before the @. This should be easy to do and we should not be required to keep these old addresses active. Please…

IMAP whitout Bridge
Would it be possible to have the possibility of choosing an IMAP option that does not require to download the Bridge program? I know it means no encryption but I don't mind.
2 votesProton by definition is an encrypted email provider. We won't be looking into solutions that are not e2ee.

Improve mobile app UI after last major refactoring
Hi Proton Team
After the major UI refactoring of the Android mail app some weeks ago, we're struggling with some of the changes. In fact there are two things which are really distracting. Let me explain:
- Differentiate between read and unread mails
It is very difficult to simply "see" which mails are new and which ones are already read. The only difference seems to be, that new mails are listed using bold font where already read emails are using the normal font. It doesn't matter which theme is used, you need to have a deeper look to recognize "oh, I've…

Poor Alias Reputation / Blacklisted Proton Alias' (Passinbox, Passfwd, etc.)
Poor Alias Reputation / Blacklisted Proton Alias' (Passinbox, Passfwd, etc.)
I have recently struggled to use Proton email alias addresses. Many companies are now automatically blacklisting the alias domains and preventing me from doing simple tasks such as sign-ups and registrations. This makes the alias service practically useless. Please do something to fix the poor domain reputations so that we can go back to using our generated alias' as they were intended. Thank you.
