Please make the location in the calendar more functional and allow it to open in your chosen map/navigation app, like Magic Earth, which doesn't track you or require an account.

Stand alone contacts
I would like to have Proton Contacts as my default on our Android phones. I need to open Google contacts to make a call unless I port all my Proton contacts to Google. I'm don't wish to give Google my entire contacts list.

More shortened email options
I was offered shortened @pm.me email option.
I have to refuse it.
First reason is, it does not look trustworthy.
Given that I was offered it only after paying for it by default, means only limited amount of people were ever exposed to it, so it does have limited to none brand recognition. If I were to use it, many people would by default think I am trying to scam them. Same goes for "pm" part as well as ".me" part, it sounds cute, until you try to get into shoes of the receiver that is trying to decide if…692 votes -
more colors for labels
Hi. I don't know if anyone has suggested this yet, but it would be a good idea to have more label colors.

Show alias as sender, or at least next to it
When replying to an email sent to alias, the "from" field is populated with the main email, not with the alias.
As per my tests, the alias is ultimately used as sender, but this should also be shown on the user interface when sending the email. It's confusing and error prone otherwise.
If not directly in "from", show it somewhere next to it.

Add a search option in Calendar
Add a search option in Calendar (across all device platforms) to make it easier to find specific events. That would make life very pleasant.

Could we please have more variety in the colors for folders and calendars? Like yellow(s), real red(s), etc.?
Could we please have more variety in the colors for folders and calendars? Like yellow(s), real red(s), etc.? Everything seems just blah with all blues, browns, greens and one orange and copper. Thank you for your consideration. Have a great day!

Add recurrence options: 'First day' and 'Last day' of each month
Add a recurrence option that allows users to schedule events on 'the last day of each month' or 'the first day of each month.' This would enhance flexibility for users who need to plan recurring events tied to specific calendar positions, which are not always covered by fixed-date or weekly recurrence settings.

Separate Proton Mail & Calendar from Uservoice
Separate Proton Mail & Calendar from Uservoice
User Voice currently groups Proton Mail and Proton Calendar orders as a single app...
However, I recommend separating both in UserVoice to better identify products and the quantity of requests per product.
As there are many who are already registered in a single TAG,
you can rename it to something like "Old Category" and create two new categories so that new requests meet the new criteria.58 votes -

Proper support for Format=flowed
Proton is particularly bad at supporting plain text email. There’s no support for format=flowed in the interface but, even worse : any mail sent through Proton SMTP will see its format=flowed header removed.
This was a bug highly discussed in the Bridge Github ticketing system before it was sent offline.
Please allow people to use Proton and the Bridge through plaintext (Mutt, Emacs, Alpine are widely used amongst the privacy geeks crowd)

Make it obvious that you actually REPLY with your hide-my-email
can confirm after reading the replies here (https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail-calendar/suggestions/48146006-reply-to-emails-sent-with-hide-my-email-alias), that this actually is really working!
Choosing which email from your proton acc is REALLY misleading, hence I never dared to "test" this when doing an reply to a hide-my-email, so can only upvote the misleading visual that it seems that you send from your official proton email address. Even after sending a reply, it visually indicates that you sent it from your proton.me
The suggestion would be either display in FROM: the actual hide-my-email-address or if that is too complicated a "using your alias" would be also fine.

Expand the limit on levels of sub-folders within ProtonMail
The current implementation of folders in Proton Mail allows for top-level folders and two levels of sub-folders beneath these.
I can understand that allowing an unlimited level may not be practical, but an increse from 3 to 5 levels would make it much more useful for sorting.

Allow for seperate mailboxes within the same account
Currently some account tiers allow you to have multiple email addresses (e.g. Unlimited allows 15 email addresses). However, all the emails share the same mailbox. It would be nice if we can have the ability to assign email addresses to separate mailboxes (even if it's for an additional fee).

AI features like writing assistant should be opt-in, not opt-out
I don't use AI and I turn it off or hide it when possible. I switched to Proton in part to avoid how much other providers try to stuff it into everything. And yet I have to randomly find a "writing assistant" in my mail settings - and switched on by default, no prompt to opt-in or agree to whatever new terms and conditions this should require.

Appointment Scheduling in Proton Calendar – Missing Key Features Compared to Calendly
The current appointment scheduling feature in Proton Calendar is not yet a full replacement for tools like Calendly or TidyCal. Several important functionalities are missing.
- Limited Booking Form Fields
Currently, the booking form only includes:

- Display of Organizer Email Address
The booking page automatically displays the organizer’s Proton email address.
Issue:
I use a custom domain email for my practice.
