I would like to see google (or other caldav based calendars) from proton mail. I got close by using the url ending in .ics but this one is static and does not sync (a simple download and import). Is there any way to use google calendar and sync. thanks.

Please add this sync, this is mandatory for custom integration within other company tools.

Add CalDAV synchronization
My international company does not allow us to share Outlook calendar links, but Google’s CalDAV integration works fine. Since Lumo already integrates with services such as Google, Apple, Nextcloud and many others, it would be very helpful to have native CalDAV support as well. -

Not having caldav is an absolute nightmare, requiring workarounds. I want to move away from Microsoft and Google and this is a showstopper

Did not expect this not to work.
It's kind of mandatory to have things like external schedules work. (i.e. a calender provided by our local firefighters - essential information for me - available via caldav)
This is kind of... preventing use of proton calender as a central hub for me where most of my information would be private, only those external calendars wouldn't be. It'd be a dream!
add a "not secure" icon to the external ones, maybe? To clearly signal the breach of the "privacy sphere"?

The lack of this feature is preventing me from completely terminating my use of Google products. I use a Light Phone 3 and even a dedicated partnership workaround through their dashboard would be appreciated. I have even managed to get my TRMNL display to show my Proton calendar. Being able to view/edit it on my LP3 is the final missing piece of the puzzle. It's wild to me that people have been asking for such a straightforward feature for 10+ years

The caldav support will help to use calendar apps for Linux desktops and Android apps. Right now I need to share my Proton calendar with a gmail account and integrate the gmail account into different apps to effectively use Proton. It's pretty stupid if you want to de-Google yourself.
The Proton calendar widget on Android works, but not in a practicle way.

As someone that wants to fully move over to Proton for my business, we can't fully move because of the lack of integration with a lot of productivity web apps. Adding CalDAV would go a long way in helping with that transition.
