Seriously considering cancelling my subscription if calendar search doesn't make an appearance. I want to love the Proton suite, but without an offline, searchable calendar on my mobile, it's a no for me

This feature should be a no-brainer... When will we have the ability to search for items in our calendars ? At the very least in all calendars, better with the ability to select specific calendar(s) to refine the search.

The search function on the native app is an MVP, I’m not sure why any Product Manager would think this wasn’t a requirement.
This is such a need that I’m having to switch back to my iCloud calendar just so I have a functional search function in my calendar. It’s such a disappointment that this feature isn’t seen as a requirement for the Proton team.

The "Search function" on the web interface doesn't pull up anything created in the mobile app. I have to edit it in the web version for the search to find it. Absolutely unusable as a workaround for the lack of search function in the mobile app.

It has been almost a year now since this request post started. Is there any news on this topic?
I have the same issue as Alice. It does not find recent events on the web version search.

I'm accessing the calendar on the web - there is a "search" function but it doesn't work. It pulls unrelated events and doesn't pull an event with an exact title match. I don't understand...

I would really love to see the search option in calendar on all platforms ! Really enjoying proton unlimited.

This is absolutely essential to a calendar usability, I was really surprised when downloading that I could not do this in the ios app.

In the Windows desktop app there is a search option available, but in the iOS app for iPhone and iPad it’s not.

I would like calendar search on the app for when I am out and need to check when my next meeting or appointment is with someone. Not being able to do this keeps sending me back to other calendar apps

Workaround: use the web app on mobile to access the search functionality.

Yes, we really need this.. please. It would allow us to search for past events and figure out what dates they were on and see details, etc. I often wonder, "what date did i do such and such again?" This would be such a convenient feature.

I particularly miss this search function in the Android Calendar app. I found it in the Windows app.

That should be on Proton Calendar instead of Proton Mail.

I need to keep an overview on certain similar events. Now I need to scroll thru my agenda to find them one by one. This is extremely time consuming.
