I moved all my non-work related events and appointments over from google. Had I decided to go cold turkey I would have missed several appointments and events. My normal notification sounds is very mellow so, I can attend meetings w/o having to turn my sound or phone off (because I often forget to turn them back on afterwards).

I would love to completely drop google calendar and this is the one item that keeps me from getting rid of it.

After update my email sounds just like my texts. No good! I don't want to look at my phone for every email because they're generally non-urgent. But I do want to look at texts right away. Now I can't tell the difference. Actually, I turned off notifications in Proton Mail so only text messages make a sound. But, I'd rather have that customized email sound back!

I used to have a whistle as my notification for my proton email until the app updated with a new version. And now I can't find where to get the whistle back.

I can't be watching my screen all the time whilst working aside my laptop and having my email open; I'm very busy in the office and can do with a unique sound to ping my attention back to awaited email answers. Vital for me for more efficient working.

I like the ability to choose from a set of dedicated sounds in the Fastmail app. It would be nice to have this in Proton.

It would be nice if there was a sound unique to Proton that is used to notify of a new email received - rather than the default phone notification sound. I use another private email service that has several notification sounds unique to the app that notifies of a new email being received in the inbox because I don't like the Proton Mail iPhone app not having the ability to change that feature.

This should be implemented across all ProtonMail apps (including the new Mac app). I like the idea of extending the feature to specify different sounds for each mailbox as well

This is important for me so I can make the calendar notifications more noticeable and attention-grabbing. On my Android phone, the sound for Proton Calendar notifications is very slight (a short and mild beep), and keep missing them..

I have just signed up for a trial of Proton Mail and I have to say this is a deal-breaker for me. I have multiple email and messaging apps on my phone and I rely on being able to differentiate between the various apps and accounts by virtue of their notification sound. Another vote for this issue. As much as it's a simple & basic request, it's a major one for some people. I have recently converted from Android to iOS and find it amazing this feature is missing. I have configured all my "system wide" notification tones, surely it should at the bare minimum be using one of these.

Quite right. By defionition, calendar events are time- or day-specific, and thus have a high time sensitivity and priority.

In contrast, SMS and other instant messages are not time-sensitive, so it really is necessary to know which type you have just received.

This is needed for both Mail and Calendar apps on iOS. I rely on notification sounds to determine the urgency of a notification. Plus I just don't like the default iOS sound.

Proton calendar notification sounds are too quiet

Ability to change notification sounds for all events or for specific individual events in the Android/iOS app so I know when I get a Calendar notification based on the sound it makes.

I just want the ability to change the notification sound for the app. It seems UN-beleiveable to me that the latest and greatest "smart" phone can't set custom sounds for each app but it's true. I want different sounds for email, texting etc and I can't get it from my $1,800 Galaxy Android Zfold3. So I'm hoping the app itself can offer the ability.
