Trash and labeled emails
When a labeled email is sent to the trash it should also be removed from the label folder. This would eliminate an additional step on the user part to remove label. Sending an email to trash should not keep a labeled email in its label folder.

I must admit, I also find the current behavior a bit unintuitive. Personally, I prefer that when I restore an email from the trash, it retains its original labels—this helps me keep my mailbox organized and ensures I don't lose important context.
From my perspective, a better solution would be to simply hide emails that are in the trash from appearing in label folders or conversation threads by default. This way, users can still benefit from the label structure if they recover a message, but won’t be distracted by trashed emails in their everyday workflow.

I don't want this. How can I disable this behaviour? I've posted a request at https://github.com/ProtonMail/WebClients/issues/443#issue-3144101443.

Why is this marked as Completed? Trashed messages still show up under their label.

I agree. This is still an issue. And it would also be good if the next installment with the same subject and sender did not bring the "Trashed" message back to the inbox. If it's sent to trash, it should no longer be part of a thread. Every time I get "new headlines for today," for example, all my trashed messages from prior days reappear. That is totally useless and just makes for more work.

Not only that, but trashed messages are shown as part of the total received in the inbox. This also gets confusing.

I agree. I use labels as multiple inboxes for my multiple domains. If I trash an item, I don't want to see it alongside my other emails associated with that label. I want it gone.
Another simple alternative would be a setting that toggles on or off the visibility of trashed items when inside the label view. That'd work too.

Please remove the label when a message is put in the trash. It's a good amount of work to remove the label then trash the folder. At minimum, please put a setting that would allow emails that are trashed to have any associated label removed.
