How can we improve Proton Mail or Calendar?

Being able to create custom folders

You seem to believe that the ability to add folders is "Completed" by telling people to use labels. Color labels just don't cut it.

All the emails will still reside in my inbox or archive. Every other internet email service offers the option to create custom folders, why not Protonmail? This issue has come up again and again from the start.

    Agree with need for user ability to create folders/subfolders. Like many, I find folder creation essential. (Perhaps if this were made available on paid accounts it would attract a substantial number of conversions from free to paid status, and thus help the cause of continued development.)

    When this and IMAP (or a proper Windows client) arrive I shall upgrade my account and migrate my current setup to it full time. It's a great product and deserves to succeed. I know you are working on these issues and hope that progress is being made.

    I Agree too. Folders and labels are 2 different ways to organize emails.
    The advantage of folders is that you have a hierarchical organization that does not exist with labels.

    Folders with rules to automatically sort mail into them, or atleast automatically sort into labels and archive folder for existing and new email. Thank you

    I cannot use the mailbox which I created until folders are established. This was also the no-sell factor for a friend who wanted to set up a secure mailbox for his condo accounts. Please enable real folders!
