1st choice: automatic alphabetizing of folders
2nd choice: a way for me to do it myself

You can now sort your labels and custom folders alphabetically in the settings of your account by selecting the “Sort” option.

The "https://protonmail.com/blog/protonmail-v3-8-release-notes/" link is dead. No results in the Proton Mail help for a keyword search on how to sort Proton mail folders.
Why is such an industry standard approach to automatically sorting new folders alpha/numerically not used in Proton and why in 2026 do I have to manually sort new folders?!?!?!?
