Hide 'Spam' and 'Trash' from 'All Mail' folder.
Currently the All Mail folder displays trashed and spam emails. Since this is a good folder for getting good overview of all mails (including those in potentially many folders) some users (like me) use it a lot. It can be very disconcerting to see trash and spam in there, and defeats the purpose of spam and trash.
Thanks to your collective feedback, Spam and Trash emails are now excluded from the All Mail folder. You can control this behavior from Settings > Messages and composing > Exclude Spam/Trash from All mail.

Perhaps one way to solve this problem is to allow hiding certain folders from IMAP clients. I would be happy with hiding the All Mail folder that way.

I concur with the rest of the crowd - I like to add junk email addresses to my Spam filter, particularly when they keep emailing me after multiple 'unsubscribe' attempts. Is there a way to avoid seeing that folder (and Trash I suppose) in the All Mail folder?

There is not currently a way to view the emails from all folders in one place. The "All Mail" should do this but instead it shows your spam & trash mails as well.

Get rid of "All Mail" entirely!! Seriously annoying that one cannot at least hide it from the sidebar, if not get rid of it altogether (my preference).

when I use All mail option, I can see all the emails, including spam & Trash Emails listed. Usually, When I choose All Mails, I'm not looking in Trash. Is there a way to select the folders when we choose the All Mail option? A default could be everything, the user could choose what they want to see in all emails.

great idea. similar problem with "all mails" folder : you can't never clean up that folder, as the deleted messages stay visible in that folder

As the title states, If I am in View All Mail, I would like to be able to just view the mail I haven't sent to the Trash folder. As it is, my mail checking gets bogged down behind all of the deleted mail.

I strongly agree with adding this feature. It doesn't make any sense to display spam & trash under the "All Mail" folder. The number of times you need to see trashed or spam messages is so significantly lower than the times you don't that it's contradictory of expectations.
I also posted about this in a recent reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/comments/d34z7p/behaviour_of_the_all_mail_view/

This is exactly how I'd like to see the All Mail folder work as well. I use it as my inbox as I have mail filtered into multiple folders, so seeing mail I've read and deleted in there is annoying.

The All Mail folder shows literally all mail. Generally, I'm not interested in anything in my deleted items or spam folders. I would like a way on the settings page to exclude deleted items or spam folders from the All Mail folder.

Whenever you press 'all mail' - make it so that it does not show the spam mail.
so please exclude spam from 'all mail'.

If I receive a message and attribute the label "X". After some days I don't need this message anymore. I delete It.
I go in X to search another message, the deleted message still appear.
At least it should be optional.
