Support multiple accounts on iOS
Either allow multiple accounts to be open simultaneously in the iOS app or add option to switch between accounts without having to formally log out and log in between each swap.
Despite allowing multiple aliases for a single account, if you have a personal account but also shared an account (eg with a spouse) aliases don’t suffice. The idea of forwarding every email from one account to another is archaic, lose for user and lose for proton mail because you’ll be storing the same message twice unnecessarily.
Multiple account support is a basic feature for email apps.
Thank you for your feedback! The iOS Proton Mail app supports multiple accounts.

This was apparently marked as a planned feature back in 2016 but still hasn't been implemented. Everyone please go to the original request and add your votes there, to encourage the devs to move it up on the priority list: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/13002177-multiple-accounts-login-support-in-android

I use Protonmail at work and for my personal account. I cannot combine these accounts. I need to be able to use two separate mail accounts within the mobile app. You can take a look at the gmail app for Android for ideas on how to manage the active account selection.
I would be happy to sponsor the development and prioritization of this feature. It is critical.

This would be helpful for those who have a personal and a business account and those who have one account but have multiple addresses in their accounts.
Another cool feature would be to allow other email accounts like gmail, outlook, etc to be added to the app even if adding non-protonmail user accounts costs money or is only for paid users. By adding this users can use one mail app on their phone instead of two.

why the protonmail app does not support multiple accounts ? I have few accounts on protonmail.com/ch and each time I need to sort out from the app and enter with the account desired . So Why you can't manage multiple accounts as hotmail or liberomail ? very simple

This would be cool but I would prefer to see a Bridge app for Andriod and iOS. But if theres not going to be a bridge app this would be the next best thing to it. Gmail for examples allows users to have more than on email account in their app and so does AquaMail. It would be nice to have multiple accounts/addresses on one phone since many have a personal and work email addresses.

I'd include simple UI features and gestures support for example:
* swiping in email to see previous / next email;
* adding better force support;
* swipes from the main inbox / folder can integrate more options to move, tag, star etc
* perhaps including a focused inbox though I don't know if this is proprietary.I would love to see the mobile apps improved to become a little more user friendly and to compete better with iOS Mail or Outlook etc.

The iOS client app need more features. For example:
* Get some ideas from Apple's iOS Mail app
* Allow multiple accounts
* Allow easy address book editing, copy/paste email address from a contact entry
* When an account is logged in, lock the screen after a time-out by default
* When attaching photos, allow different levels of compression like the iOS Mail app
* Improve search functionality and allow body text, search not just sender name -

The app could have a set of TABS to switch between different accounts

Yes, I need this like yesterday. Some of us have business and personal email accounts. I hate having to log in every time via the web to do this.

I have a work email and a personal email that are different accounts and it is frustrating to switch back and forth.

Please implement this - my guess is your will see higher adoption, as people will switch exclusively to proton bc of this

Compartmentalization makes this critical. One account for bills. One account for work. One account for social media, etc.
Switching back and forth, with 2fa on each account effectively makes it not possible to use phone for mail.

Could you add multiple accouts option in the app please? Limited to 3 for free and +3 for paid accounts. It's really frustrating to log out each time i need to switch to another account and i dont want to have a NSA backdoor in my phone (Shuch as Parallel Space...).
Thank you :)

Much needed feature for the iPhone app. Having access to both my personal and business account within the app without having to log out of one to get into the other would be a huge convenience.

Yes please! I would also like to go back and forth between accounts without needing to enter a pin or using Touch ID to access these accounts every time. Touch ID or app pin should give access to all accounts simultaneously.
