Please make pfp's for us...

Please, could you share why it's not being prioritized?

As someone who uses proton professionally for their business, it would be nice to be able to send a picture with my company logo in my profile picture that recipients could see instead of just a letter.

Having a profile picture should be a basic feature!

I set up the free account to try it out. Was planning to upgrade to the plus tier for more addresses (and more). Seeing this makes me disappointed to the point where I'll be looking for alternatives

To this day, nothing, since 2015 this has been requested

This is such a trivial feature to implement, yet so important for many people, come on Proton. Many of us, me included, are paying customers, please listen to this feedback!

Yea Proton team concentrating on releasing as much new products as they can, they don't give a **** about our request even if have Visionary subscription which is the very first subscription of protonmail. 6 years of ignoring basic feature which takes 1 day to code. What is more fun, that big brands such as Google, Netflix and etc. they have ability to have profile picture next to their email name. Also, they don't care that you have BIMI DNS tag setup correctly which should show profile picture - still no luck. Only big brands and corporations can have their avatar photo.

I just signed up for Proton. I've been loving it.
The fact that this feature isn't implemented after the community has been asking for it for this long is troublesome. Maybe I should rethink my choice.
It's also surprising because it's such a basic feature.

We need this feature, now. Basically every other service out there has them, and it's such a quality of life feature that I'm surprised it hasn't been implemented by now. Is Proton ng spread out too much from all their other products?

Yes, please! If it's a privacy issue, let the user decide whether to add one.

The most annoying thing is that there is clearly a designated space for this! Proton Mail [official] and Proton Calendar [official] have profile pics, but users can't!

When I send emails to myself, my other email service just adds a picture from I don't know where to my mail. It's just such a standard part of email now that other services add it in to keep me from looking like a freak.
Please let me use a picture of my choice so I'm at least in control of this!
My message here looks like **** because I haven't attached a picture, this is how PM.me wants me to represent myself to everyone I mail?

Just signed up for Proton and paid. Also dissapointed it does not have this basic feature. I guess Xmail maybe the way forward. I will still give Protonmail a year but it lacks so many features.

I thought I was giving feedback to Accounts & payments. It seems I've been redirected to Proton Mail.My comments were directed at a different item, making these-Not appropriate? Being able to add a personal pic on this forum versus being able to add a personal pic to an email account is...
(laughing at my self) Like thinking you're entering a nude event, you open the door, strut in wearing only a smile, with the door closing behind you as you realize you've entered a Formal Dress Required event.
I'll leave the comment ... as... Food for thought.
Are we here to improve Proton, or for self-recognition?Profile: a collection of personal details about oneself that one curates and shares on an online platform (such as a blog or a social media service)
To feature adding one's own picture would require screening of each picture for x-rated material, racial content, Hate speech, etc.
Providing these necessities to "add a Profile Picture" comes at a cost.
The expense associated with (that) would be paid by subscribers.
Put simply; It would increase the price of Proton.For two reasons;
1. We are here to improve Proton, not to inflate one's ego of self-importance or to promote ANY account or Brand Identity.
Social media platforms were created with the concept of inflating one's ego Highlighted.
2. Increase the price of Proton.Ability to add Profile Pictures gets a 👎
