Contact birthdays appear on Calendar
Proton Contacts allows users to record the birthday for each contact. It would be great if these birthdays could automatically appear in Proton Calendar.

This was on the roadmap in 2022:
https://proton.me/blog/proton-mail-calendar-roadmap#:~:text=your%20contacts%E2%80%99%20birthdays
What happened that it is not here yet?

I just switched to Proton and I am very surprised that this feature is missing. Please give it some priority. Thanks

Still it is more or less an email list. I just have Proton Mail for a week but if I can't integrate it with an European adressbook and calendar I will already leave again.
No birthdays from your family and clients. The address format (street and apartment number) is for my country the other way around. The import of groups was completely screwed up. Very amateuristic and they shouldn't advertise with it. -

Thy should appear like holidays. Separated from other calendars

I am surprised that features I consider fundamental are missing—for example, the inability to display contact birthdays in the calendar.

Yes. Please add this future as it's the only thing keeping my iCalendar open.

It is clear that it should be possible to add the contacts birthsday in the calendar. It should be in a seperate calendar called "Birthdays" just like that there is a calendar with national holidays,

This feature would be nice and best to have the option to toggle it on and off within the contact entry vs all or none.

This is the ONLY reason I still use google calendar as my main calendar. If I can fill a birthday on a contact somewhere (proton contacts?) and have it show as an calendar would make be completely exit google's ecosystem.

I would love to be able to do this, but also make it optional to show in Calendar or not. Sometimes I just don't care to have John Doe's bday cluttering up my calendar, but want to have his birthday info recorded.

Google calendar does this. I always found it useful.

A nice thing but totally un important. You can manually put it in the calendar, if you want.

This is absolutely key, currently I'm still tied to Google calendar because of it
