Add sub-folders to the archive folder.
I would like the ability to archive the sub-folders with all the emails saved in them. For faster retrieval when researching among 1000's archived emails.

This would be very helpful. I migrated 100's for emails from Comcast.net and even tho they are located in different migrated folders- all of the emails are now doubled and in my "all mailbox". And if I delete one email from the "all mail" mailbox-it also deletes from the migrated folder. If I could just create sub-folders in Archive-my problems would be solved.....I like staying on top of my inbox and have sooooo many pages in my "all mail" is frustrating.

Alternatively you could make use of filters and labelling. You can now manually run filters over an account. Labelling are effectively multi dimensional folders. ie a email can have many labels.
In sieve script fileto is the same.

The longer the customer the older the mail, the more important it is to be able to properly archive entire folders. Mine are piling up. Please hurry.

This is a standard feature in various other email services.
I previously used so that I can archive emails by the year -
Archive_2022
Archive_2023
or
Archive_Friends
etc..
This is a must -

I have several email folders that I would like to be able to archive.
I would like for the folder and all of the emails contained in the folder to be archived so that they appear in the the same way under the Archive folder. -
