I have the same issue.
Very important when forwarding emails from say "yahoo" to allow me close that account. -

Especially when adding recipient(s) to original listJason supported this idea ·

VERY important! It is STANDARD with most email services.
Allows reporting of SPAM and PHISHING to the authorities
"apwg" & "antiphishing" [.org]Should be under "more" as "Forward as attachment" & "Inline"

It does appear that Archiving is a 1 step or nothing option in PM.
I have always previously used
Archive_
Subject_
YYYY
To make simple annual archiving and searching.Probably only possible in a desktop app??

Maybe not at top level from Inbox.
But definitely an option to select ALL within a custom folder "Utilities", to enable archiving all in that folder and keep the folder name as sub-folder under Archive.
Allow the sub-folder name to be edited..Archive_
Utilities_

Allowing easy access to archived mail by subjectProbably only ever possible if PM has a true desktop based app in Windows.

This is a standard feature in various other email services.
I previously used so that I can archive emails by the year -
Archive_2022
Archive_2023
or
Archive_Friends
etc..
This is a must -

Many users would find this a necessity when dealing with government And/Or public organisations, who have a habit of ignoring emails until they feel they have to respond.
At least knowing they have received ensures that the email did not
There is no valid reason for not sending the "received" And/Or "read" once passed through their email server validation.

And similar to other Email services can the conversational view stay threaded when mail moved to specific folder?
I use PM for NHS emails, which can be 2-3 weeks apart and for different "family" memners, so moved to "family member folder" once read.

ProtonMail offers encrypted contacts for both web and mobile applications (https://protonmail.com/blog/encrypted-contacts-manager/). Calendar and note functionality will be released in the future.

I agree with Erich.
Conversational mode should be able to be applied at 3 levels:
1. Grouping as provided
2. Folder level - probably not a high demand
3. Conversation Threading - where user can select WHICH email conversation to thread.
Threading is more important today when we all receive multiple emails from Banks, Stores, MHS/Gov, many wihich do not need to be linked. But others do.
Example:
Where a complaint has been raised with a service provider, and may involve many To/From emails.
I and others would wish these to be threaded, but the remaining "monthly bill/payment" emails not linked
I do accept that with the inbuild security of ProtonMail not everything can be provided. BUT! I feel this is critical for many.
