Please add this critical feature to desktop and mobile apps, also sort by Subject.
Thunderbird has sort by: Subject, Sender, Read/unread, Attachments, etc. Protonmail apps should have similar functions.

When trying to sort through hundreds of unread e-mail it would be *so* helpful to have this feature.

This is key. Once you've had Protonmail for a while, being able to see the volume of mail from each sender is critical.

I agree with this request. A common feature in other email system, sorting by sender is extremely helpful if you want to clear out old pieces of mail in a folder from a particular sender or find pieces from a particular sender. Search doesn't work that well for this. Thanks.

This is CRITICAL for email organization. Sorting by sender, date or subject allows pinpointed mass deletion or archiving, etc. I prefer to keep my inbox empty, but don't always keep up on personal emails. When I do have time to organize, it's currently a painstaking process.

This is the number one reason I will not use Gmail for personal. They REFUSE to add a sort on sender feature. Proton, if you go down the same route, I will definitely be canceling an expensive subscription.

This has been requested since at least 2023. THIS IS SUCH A **** BASIC FEATURE!!!!!!! Why hasn't this been done?!?!? Without it, I have to scroll through my emails, find a sender I want to look at and use that to filter. Then repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat....This is ridiculous!!

The ability to sort emails by sender. How is this not a feature in 2025? AOL has it.

It's the only thing stopping me from having Proton as my only email.

I have lost control of my inbox. If I can't sort them by sender it takes way too long to otherwise delete them. Bridge is too onerous a mode and has problems. This is the reason I don't recommend Proton Mail to others and why I still use other emails. I am now going to use the other emails more and use Protonmail far less. Too bad,but I have seen this requested for years and nothing happens other than a thank you for our comment and others have requested it. Mostly now I will be using Outlook.

I really cannot manage my email without this feature. It seems a common feature in other webmail platforms and it seems as if a lot of users need this.

Like others I don't know why this hasn't been one of the first features in an email app/client.

Hi team. Start of a new year and I need to clean these mailboxes. Easiest way to delete swaths of unneeded emails is by SORT ON SENDER. I'd give this 1,000,000 votes (if I could).

There are several requests for a sort feature by other people. I bet if you combined all of them there would be enough votes for a sort feature to pass!!
