Option to show calendar title event in email notification
Proton Calendar email notifications currently do not show the title of the calendar event (e.g. Reminder: event starting on Friday, March 4 (all day)). When emailing to the companion Proton Mail account, the email notification should include the calendar subject (e.g. Reminder: Jimmy's Birthday, Friday, March 4 (all day)).

This is literally a formatting issue. It could be fixed in next to no time. I do not need to know that "An event is starting...", I need to know what event is starting. The notifications are actually useless. I cannot use Proton Calendar because of this and have had to change back to Outlook.
Was this coded by a surly intern, or just someone who thinks everyone should remember every appointment. -

It is incomprehensible to me why I am not shown the title of the event in the email notification about the event. This is genuinely annoying and I beg you to please change this. Include the title. Please.

I can not imagine why one would design it like it is now. No useful information at all! The notification in your mail contains a lot of text, but the name of the appointment is hard to find. So, please make it really similar to Gmail calendar

This is absolutely critical for me to continue using proton calendar.. The current way the e-mail notifications work are so annoying.

The developer who did this must really hate the users. Who does something like that...? 🤷♂️

Yes! We really need this. I am little shocked that is suggestion already dates back to 2022. It seems so straight-forward. While you’re at it: Please also change the sender name to "Proton Calendar" instead of just "Proton", as the calendar reminders come from a dedicated email address ("no-reply@calendar.proton.me").

Only been using Proton Calendar for a couple of weeks, but having an option to allow the event to be viewed within email is very important. Having a preview of "Reminder: Event Starting" is not helpful at all.

I really hope Proton can add an option to make email reminders meaningful.
In the images advertising the redesign of the mobile apps a few months back, they even showed an inbox with meaningful Proton Calendar reminders ("Lunch with John"). I was very excited for a moment as I thought I was about to get a real replacement for Google Calendar.
I also want to call attention to the idea of E2EE in this context. If reminders contain 1) the event time and 2) the fact that there is an event at all, then we can't say that calendar events are fully end-to-end encrypted in the first place. They are *partially* encrypted. It's a choice to not encrypt some information.
I would like users themselves to be able to choose to unencrypt event names, just like Proton itself has chosen to not encrypt even times and the fact that the user has an event. -

Indeed ! I am annoyed by those useless email notifications. Since Protonmail is encrypted, why can't we receive notifications with the title of the event ?

This is one of the critical features keeping me from committing 100% from switching from Google.

I agree that this is critical. The event details are in the email body once you click. Please add it to the title so we can see the event in the inbox without opening the mail. All other calendars work like this.

Genuinely shocked this isn't possible - what's the point of a notification if it doesn't tell you what it's for?

Agree...miss the usefulness of the G-word implementation. Please figure out a way to make this an option for those who want this. Thx.

Yes, this seems like a huge miss. I have relied heavily on my Google Calendar reminders and have missed several tasks since switching to Proton because the email subject is so vague.

This is really annoying that calendar reminder e-mail does not include calendar tittle, on each reminder you need to open calendar separately

I forget or miss so many calendar events because this approach does not work with my ADHD brain. Please, please allow the event to be in the subject line of the email.

Its not very helpful to just see that there is an "event". Why make your users go to the Calendar to see what the event is? This is a waste of time. Other apps tell you what the notification is about. Please give the title of the event.
